Staff were friendly and very accommodating, allowing us to switch to a ground floor room. Room was fine with some modern updates. Area is somewhat noisy with a truck stop across the road and the I-90 so close. Getting a room that doesn’t face the street might be a more quiet option. Accommodation was good for the price. If you were choosing to stay there to be close to the airport, you’d probably be a little disappointed as it is about 3 miles from there. We were just passing through Sioux Falls by car and stayed only the one night.

Hotel carpet in room dirty, shelf broke of wall when we hung shirt on it, room was non-smoking but was smoked in by previous guest, stunk bad, made my asthma act up, desk gal tried to febreze it out and made it worse with spray ontop of stench..trim falling off air /heater box, tv didnt work properly only got 1 channel, never was enough breakfast made, never refilled when empty, had to leave n go buy it every day

Unclean and Poorly Maintained Room

The staff may have been friendly, but the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. There was dried fecal matter on the wall by the bed, a large leak from the shower, and sticky, unclean floors. I hope this was an anomaly, but I can’t recommend staying here unless serious improvements are made.

Check-in was great! However the room did need extra care. Light fixture in wash area, falling off. Curtain off hooks causing early light. Refrigerator noises off and on. Carpet needs cleaning. At breakfast, asked for coffee as it was dispensing more water than coffee as the same with the juice. Asked to refill, didn’t happen. And please remove the gross ironing board, if it needs to stay, please wash the cover! Who uses these anymore?

There was a horrible smell in the air outside the hotel, not sure where it came from or if it’s persistent and normal. Room was clean enough, but the amenities listed there was a pool table and when we inquired about it, the woman at the front desk told me they’ve never had one and she’s not sure why it says that.

I got a room on the ground floor, and the window would not lock. I think I would sleep better if no one could open it from the outside! So they did give me another room... the window did lock this time, but there was mold all around the base of the shower, mold on the ceiling tiles, the sink faucet was loose, and there was a big red stain on the carpet. I hope it was red wine, but don't really want to know. On the plus side, the bed sheets were nice and clean. Also it was very quiet, which is surprising since the hotel is right on a busy road and next to a truck stop.
