"We had an amazing trip to the Sanctuary House this Spring just before tourist season on Martha's Vineyard. Its location in West Tisbury was a welcome change from the vibes of Oak Bluffs or Edgartown, and it is nestled amongst a few beautiful farms and overlooks the water in the distance. The island was still very quiet, but there were great amenities for cooking and enjoying family meals on the property such that we were not at all reliant on restaurants being open. The bedrooms were very comfortable, particularly the master suite on the first floor. Can't recommend staying here enough!"

"The home is absolutely breathtaking on the outside. Walking in the early morning with a cup of coffee, surrounded by the sounds of nature, is simply breathtaking. It's a quiet, quaint location just off the beaten path—perfect for peace and reflection.Although our stay was during the cooler months and we anticipated the home might feel drafty, it warmed up beautifully and fought off any potential chill, making it perfectly cozy throughout.While the interior lighting could benefit from updated LED bulbs and perhaps a TV in each bedroom, the natural sunlight brightens the home wonderfully during the day.I especially loved the soaking tub upstairs—it’s the perfect excuse to slow down, relax, and unwind."

"We really enjoyed our time at the cottage! This is a spectacular location with the very short walk down a wooded path to the beach at Lambert's Cove. It was a nice location for food and shopping at Vineyard Haven and visiting our friends in Chilmark. I recommend you arrive during daylight hours as we did - I think it might be tough to find the place for the first time at night. Also, the size of the cottage is perfect for a couple but would work well with one or two small children in the smaller bedroom. Recommended!"
