"Nice hotel but the black out curtain does not cover the whole window and the sun streams in through the side of the curtain. (This cost a star on the rating.) Breakfast was not included. Charge to park in garage, but plenty of street parking for free! Location is good if you are in the area. Not great depending on where you need to go in LA. But good for my family and friends. Gym is 3 machines and some weights. TV did not work on the treadmill. Makes for a boring workout."

"There might be more expensive options than Motel 6, but I will be taking the more expensive options than Motel 6 for the rest of my life. They seldom change the sheets, the parking lot was strewn with trash, and the staff was by and large rude."

"About 10 minute easy drive to Universal Studios, which is why we stayed here. In the short amount of time I chose to book places for our trips my choices were limited, would I stay here again? No. It wasn’t bad, we ultimately just wanted a place to sleep at night and get ready. Free parking would be great but it was $13/night if you don’t book directly with them. Parking is tight so good luck if you have a big vehicle! It’s within walking distance of places to eat and shop. The bathroom is totally dated, the shower hardly worked. The a/c worked well. There’s a pool, never saw anyone using it. The staff at front desk were fine."

"Everything was great! Pictures were how they were presented online. Only thing was it was hard to get to front desk since the phone ran a busy signal and the water pressure in shower was strong. There’s only a divider that goes halfway in shower so it got a bit wet outside the shower. There was not a lot of parking spots if you come back at night, we just barely got the last spot for parallel parking. Coffee/Breakfast Cafe in lobby was good! Besides this, it was great to stay at! We would still come back, loved the convenience of a kitchen and rooms were well separated so we couldn’t hear the babies crying. There was $4/load laundry and pool was nice."

"Terrible check in - we had to wait for almost 30 mins to get checked in behind a very large party. There was a second person working behind a computer but they never looked up to help us - maybe they were on a break? After we finally got checked in, we went up to our room to find it hadn't been made. Beds were unmade, trash on the table and in the cans. Went back to the check in counter where we had to wait again. Told the guy that the room wasn't cleaned, he told us to wait while the manager would go to the room to check. Okay - it's me, my wife, and six year old son. I don't know why he wouldn't believe us, but oh well - had to wait 15 mins more for the manager to confirm Yes the room wasn't made, sorry. Then someone else who had just checked in came back down and said their room wasn't made as well - fortunately, they didn't have to wait for the manager to check. Unfortunately at this point they didn't have another of the same room type available for us, so we were downgraded to a smaller room and they couldn't provide reimbursement because we had booked with a third party site (Expedia). Terrible experience from front to back. Definitely won't be returning."
