Amazing Stay at Hotel Mariposa – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Mariposa. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-appointed – truly top notch. What really stood out was the impeccable service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and pleasant. This hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality stay in the area!

I was charged a $50 early check-in fee & the room wasn’t cleaned. There was even used toilet paper at the base of the toilet. The front desk didn’t offer an apology! They had housekeeping cleaned my room while we were out.

Filmmakers - no wine after 11p

I would give it a 5 star for service were it not that when I requested a bottle of wine from the front desk at 1103 pm I was told that they were unable to sell any alcohol after 11 pm....which forced me to walk a mile round trip to Ralphs to buy a bottle, having returned from the Pasadena International Film Festival and wanting a bottle to unwind and reflect on film with coproducers

The carpet was dirty. I don’t know how often they clean these carpets. I told the manager in charge of room cleaning and he was rude. Instead of saying thank you for letting us know. He said ok, ok, I’ll get cleaned when you leave. He seemed frustrated when he was doing he’s job. I told the hotel manager and he also wasn’t very nice. Accused me of being rude to staff when I wasn’t. I’m a business owner and I was polite and respectful.

Overall had a great stay at the Hotel Mariposa. It's a pretty clean place with decent rooms and nice amenities for a hotel at this price range. Service is exceptional. Ashley was super nice and very welcoming at the front desk and when I had an issue with my room safe the nice Australian guy fixed the issue immediately. All of the staff were friendly. 2 things to note: 1) they have a nice large hot tub but no pool in case you are looking for swimming 2) Parking is $25/nt but if you are flexible with the parking hours (8am-6pm) you can park on the street. Would recommend.
