The property is beautiful. The rooms were wonderful. However, check-in is at 3 o’clock and our room nor were our friends rooms ready until after 3:30. It worked ok as we all sat in the beautiful lawn area overlooking the bay. The attendant in the office did not have a smile, seems subdued and was not friendly. She was probably stressed however, as guests, we needed a happier, greeting.😁. But we will go back again!

We unfortunately did not have a balcony view ( the bay is beautiful) Lou, the hotel manager? receptionist ? should get 5 stars. Great hospitality! The location was great, and I would give it 5 stars had we gotten a room with a view . Unfortunately our view was the back of a restaurant. Great location and I would recommend it to other travelers .

This was such a lovely place to stay. It was beautiful, clean, quiet and the location was perfect. There were lots of places to eat within walking distance too. The staff is exceptional! They truly made my stay wonderful. I would recommend a staying here. It's well worth the cost.

I had an amazing stay at Backside Bay Inn! I booked a balcony room and was blown away by the gorgeous view of the Bay—especially for the great rate I got. The room was spotless, and the entire property was beautiful to walk around. I genuinely wish I could’ve stayed longer. Big shoutout to the manager, Dan the Man. I arrived late at night, and he made the after-hours check-in completely seamless. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made a huge difference after a long day of travel. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future!
