We stayed here last summer and there were some issues, but my kid really loved the dock for swimming, so we booked it again this year. We won’t be back again.We arrived at 3:30, which was a little early for our 4 pm check in, but cleaning had not started. We called management and a cleaning person came fairly quickly- she was nice and did a good job. I hope this review won’t get her in trouble. We got into the cabin by about 4:45. Management said they would give me a partial refund since the cabin wasn’t available at check in, but so far they have not even given me an ETA for when we can expect that, though I asked.The late check in wouldn’t have been a big deal on its own, but there is a general lack of care about the upkeep of this cabin. Window blinds that were broken last year, and which we reported, are still broken. The bedside table lamp doesn’t work. You can only use 1 appliance (toaster oven, tea kettle, microwave) at a time without blowing a fuse. I really do understand normal wear and tear - I’ve stayed in vacation homes all over the world and I don’t think I’ve ever left a negative review. But looking back at previous reviews for this cabin, it seems like management apologizes but rarely addresses the issues guest bring up.This place is expensive, and you can do better for the money.
