Summer vacation with 4 families

The house was nice and clean, and pictures were accurate from listing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The living room and kitchen area were more cramped than we hoped, but we managed with the 11 of us. We spent most of the time outside, on the deck, in the yard, in the stream, and the lake. The lake is very shallow - at most 4 feet in some areas, but generally 2 feet deep in most parts. We used the kayak and canoe (although the seat was broken), and the pedal boat appeared to still not work. We brought our own SUPs and tubes and had a good time. The games in the garage and board games in the house were fun, too.It was nice being in the Poconos and we saw some deer, a fox, and chipmunks near the house, so we felt somewhat "away from it all", but sitting in the backyard, we could hear the highway, and small planes and helicopters flying over due to nearby airport. Not a deal breaker, but info others might want to know. The property managers were easy to communicate with and responsive. The registration process had many layers. I appreciate wanting info about renters, but the follow-up messages insisting to complete several forms and paperwork within 48 hours gathering info from several families plus getting a background check was bothersome.

This home was clean and updated. The layout was perfect for our extended family. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware We spent most of our time enjoying the large deck, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. We were able to easily put our kayaks in the stream and paddle out to the lake. We enjoyed fishing and caught a variety of fish. We found several hiking areas nearby. The owners were immediately responsive to our questions. The check-in process was easy.

Nice house, bedrooms are spacious and comfy. Kitchen was well equipped for group cooking. Common/lounge area a bit small for the size group the house can hold. But, that aside a great stay in a great location.

Girls Weekend

The property sits away from the road and The house is cozy. We loved the fireplace and all the little extra touches. The master suite mattress was amazing. We slept great.Everyone had a good time. Our only issue was that the Deck and the hot tub was difficult to use due to the hard frozen sleet snow mix.Overall we had very nice trip.

Overall property was good. Heater in the game room worked good and kept us warm. Great for a short/long stay. A little smaller than expected but worked great for my group. Only issue we encountered was burnt food/product in the oven which created smoke but we were able to clean that. Other than that we had a great time!

Enjoyable little cabin

We planned a VERY last minute to the Poconos, and this property fit our needs quite well. Things we really liked about the property: it was in a nice, quiet location but only a short drive to stores; the hot tub was wonderful; the creek access with canoe and kayak was excellent; the deck was great to eat on when it wasn't too hot or rainy; the game room was a fun addition; the hosts were VERY responsive to our questions/requests. A few minor things that could improve: the twin-seat paddle boat's rudder was iffy (minor), the pool table sloped a bit and needed to be adjusted. Some of the cookware is quite dated, but it served our needs for the week -- overall very minor issues! We had a great stay and loved this place; would recommend to others as a quiet place of respite for friends or family!

Wonderful mountain home!

Holiday winter mountain get away

A great relaxing long weekend to ski and snow tube with family. It was clean and comfortable with bathrooms and kitchen stocked as advertised. We enjoyed the games, hot tub, wood fire and deer passing by. The great communication from owner was appreciated!

Awesome Getaway!!!

Hands down this was our best experience this year! Although it rained for a couple days there was still so much to do. Not far from attractions and close to shopping yet secluded. The space was immaculately clean. It seemed bigger than advertised. Once the rain dissipated we were able to fish off the backyard and canoe to the open lake. The host’s directions were precise and simple with excellent communication. We loved it here and are already planning for our next stay 💕

Amazing get away

This house was amazing! It was everything they said it would be and it was so wonderful. The house is set up very well, with everything one would need for a get away. Everything was very clean and fresh. The views outside are gorgeous and the backyard is so peaceful. We loved the canoe and paddle boat and really enjoyed the hot tub. The management was super responsive to anything we needed. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vaca and will definitely be bookmarking this home for the future!
