Just me and the wife. House was nicely decorated. House had a tv in each room. Nice bathrooms. View was great from the living room and master bedroom. Nice neighborhood with security. Close to 5th street for dining and shopping. Easy check-in and checkout.

Excellent beachfront house
This house is awesome! It's beautiful, was very clean & new, spacious, and perfect for 2 families traveling together. Great kitchen. Comes with filtered water that gets replaced during the stay if you leave the empty bottles out front. Very large & well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.
Playacar Fase 1 is a quiet & charming neighborhood- mostly large, interesting single family homes with lots of tropical greenery. The beach is perfect for swimming; the seaweed was only a problem 1 day out of our 8 day stay, and even then we could walk a short distance down the beach to find a clearer spot. It's a pleasant 15 minute walk to town- you come out by the Paseo del Carmen mall very close to everything downtown (tons of restaurants).
We got by without a rental car; you can walk to Oxxo/7eleven & tons of restaurants. We used taxis to get groceries and booked vans to go to activities (cenotes, akumal, xcaret). UberEats delivers from a selection of local places (Ay Taco is a great option for quick & tasty tacos).
