"Attended an extended family wedding at Hartley House (excellent venue BTW). Nearby hotel options are limited to say the least so we looked into a VRBO which could accommodate our group. This property looked good on paper/in photos so we made the arrangements and it was much better in person. We've used VRBO quite a few times and Jennifer is probably the best host we've worked with. She answered all of our questions and even hooked us up with a car service so we could have some fun at the reception. The house is spacious and clean with a well-appointed kitchen. We had a last-minute change when a cousin's weekend child care situation fell through and the kids joined us but the layout actually gave that young family their own space. Best part - the pool. It is pristine! Since many of us had no wedding responsibilities it was the perfect hangout. The bonus? It's a working horse farm and we were able to meet a foal born that Saturday morning! Not sure if we'll ever be in the area again but we'd repeat in a heartbeat!"
