Stardust Motel Timberlea
"Rooms are a little outdated with the furniture being somewhat worn, but I was very impressed with how clean the room was and how comfortable the bed was which is most important to us. The back yard is beautiful on the lake with chairs to sit and enjoy the view. It would have been beneficial to have a vending machine available to get water/drinks from, none were available. However there is a convenience store/gas bar and a Tim Hortons next door to buy water. Having an iron in the room would have been beneficial for me, there wasn't one in the room. It was convenient to have a larger fridge, kitchen sink and small dining table in the room, that was a bonus. The bath mat which is suppose to be used to avoid slipping in the tub actually made me slip in the tub. Not sure if the cleaning solution made it non stick and loose. I fell in the tub upon stepping on to it so I removed it. No major injuries incurred. This was within reasonable distance to the places we wanted to see and visit like Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg."
