Unfortunately, the quality and choice of food at the à la carte restaurants for dinner, particularly for our 2 year old, as well as the general inconsistency of service were below expectations for a five star hotel - especially when you consider the cost of half board. My wife has various food allergies and these were also not particularly well catered for - dishes sent back multiple times and lack of appropriate substitutes offered. To their credit, the management team at the hotel were very receptive to our feedback and are already working on certain improvements; for example a new, healthier kids menu in all 3 restaurants is due to launch next week."
