"This is an affordable older motel less than a block from Asilomar. We’ve been there twice and get an upstairs room, which has always been quiet. Then we can stroll over to the Asilomar Lodge ( for a drink) and down to the gorgeous beach."

"The room was neat and clean and the fireplace was a nice touch as the evenings were chilly. The only disappointment was that they advertise free breakfast but really it’s a grab and go brown bag with a granola bar, juice, and packaged muffin. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay."
