Great Family Getaway!

This was the 3rd time staying at Silver Sands in Orange Beach, Alabama. We had 7 adults in our party and 1 fur baby. The unit was very accommodating for all of us. The views were spectacular! We enjoyed our breakfast each morning on the balcony, listening to the sea. The beach was just steps away which was so convenient. We will most definitely stay at this property again when we visit the area. We honeymooned at Orange Beach 29 years ago and our children grew up going to this beach. It was a very nostalgic vacation for all of us and the accommodations couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Great Property, Great Location!

We had a great time at Silver Beach 201 - the property managers were very responsive. This unit is in the perfect location- close to stairwell, close to beach and pool. Grocery stores and restaurants are steps away! This unit had stocked kitchenware. Property pool area was nice and clean. Would highly recommend this property.

Summer vacation

We had never been to this area so we had no idea the best area or place to stay. After reading the reviews we picked this location and we were so happy we did! The rooms were nice, the balcony was perfect for us and our dog, the glass panels on the balcony protected our dog and allowed him to enjoy the views. There were beach chairs in the room which was very helpful and all the supplies we needed! Our crew included 6 adults 1 kid and 2 dog and we were all comfortable. Plenty of close by restaurants and activities for teens/kids as well.

Amazing Condo!

My husband and I met my cousin and her husband for a week at the beach. We have stayed at Silver Beach before but condo 201 was a step above. The condo was so beautiful, clean and had everything we could have asked for. It was nice to use the stairs and the barbeque area was so cute we decided to grill steaks one night. We could not have asked for a better trip.

Shame on you!

Unbelievable! You ask me this? At 4pm the afternoon before we left, car packed, we were called to tell us our rental would not be available. Alabama Getaways attempted to find a substitute, but we had chosen THIS RENTAL specifically, and no satisfactory substitute could be found on such short notice. We had booked months in advance, paid the not insignificant rental and fees, and had made the arrangements to be away from home. Our much anticipated vacation was ruined. We will never use you again, and rest assured, tell this story at every opportunity. Shame on you.

Didn’t want to leave!

This condo is perfect! The pictures are actually accurate, which has not always been our experience. Very nice and convenient corner unit on the second floor. The views are gorgeous. It is very nicely decorated and furnished inside and out. The balcony has very nice comfortable seating and a nice table for two to eat at. The kitchen is well stocked. The main bedroom bed is very comfortable! No complaints at all and was worth the price we paid. Very clean and would stay here again.

Ideal condo for my family

I loved this condo. Definitely was as described. My husband has limited mobility but was able to enjoy the beach from the balcony. The balcony was large enough to accommodate the entire family(4 adults, one child and 2 dogs). The bedrooms were a great size and there is a lot of storage which you usually don't find in a condo. It was also in a great location. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful View!

We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Beach 201! The check-in process was smooth, as we added an extra day to the beginning of our stay. The unit was very clean and spacious for my husband and me, our 16-year-old daughter, and her friend. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed this corner unit because the view was amazing! I am sure the owners know, but on one of the windows, it looks like the inner seal broke, condensation has built up and the window was foggy. The furnishings inside and on the balcony were also comfortable! The elevators worked just fine, we didn't use them much being on the 2nd floor, but unpacking and packing up they operated as expected. The only suggestion we would have would be to add a few more kitchen supplies. We made most of our meals and could have used measuring spoons (we bought some and left them there :)), and measuring cups (the lines were worn off the glass one that was there). We picked the perfect week, the weather was excellent! We saw dolphins daily and even sharks one day. The beach was so clean, kudos to the city of Orange Beach! The beach was also routinely patrolled. We felt safe letting our 16-year-old females on the beach alone. We ended up renting 2 chairs and an umbrella from the chair service as there was not an umbrella included with the unit (there were chairs). We would definitely return to this location!

Weekend trip

The condo is a really nice place and the weekend was great. The only DOWN side is they need to do some serious work on the elevators. One was getting stuck and the door wouldn't open and when trying to load up to leave the other elevator wasn't working at all. It took some time to get things down with everyone there.

Great place to stay

The condo looked just like the pictures. We had a great time. The only negative thing was that the pool was closed for updates so we didn’t have access to the pool during most of our stay and also the construction noise was loud and started early in the morning. I don’t know why this couldn’t have been done during winter months or earlier in the year instead of during peak summer season.

Best little Unit!!

This unit was absolutely PREFECT. Everything you need is there...even provided flashlights for night crabbing. The decor is nice and not cheap rental furniture. It was SUPER clean...beds/linens comfy, except the middle queen...super firm, but not so bad...however, could use another mattress like the other beds. Communication with Alabama Getaway is great...literally a text away. We loved it so much, Im renting again the end of April. These owners and management group care about their unit. 🌞⛱

Short Beach Trip

Stayed here for four nights during Spring Break. Unit was exactly as advertised on the site, was very clean, and comfortable. Minor issues with the overall property, such as very slow elevators and a small parking lot, but the unit itself was updated and we had no issues with any appliances, furniture, etc. The third bedroom is small, so larger families might find that disappointing, but it was not a problem for our daughter (9 y/o). Overall, the unit, location, and access to the beach was great. We will consider this unit again.
