I'm not sure if the problem is with the host or Vacasa or both. The cabin is adorable. I have property in the area and am familiar with the terrain and weather. The cabin only has forced air so when power goes out, which it frequently does there is no other heat source like a fireplace for light and heat which is a problem when it is 16 degrees out. Notifying Vacasa as instructed did nothing. The dryer did not work and Vacasa indicated that they would not be fixing it which was a problem when children are sledding and playing in the snow and wet clothes need dried. Upon chekcing the dryer I found that it just vents backi nto the room. Not safe. The tub did not shut off all the way and the water pressure was poor. I communicated this to Vacasa as the power had been going off and on. They were unconcerned. We could not stay at this property for almost half the nights due to power outages. This became a very expensive trip and Vacasa, who you are forced to deal with even though you rented through VRBO, could care less. This cabin was a miss and a disappointment.
