Overall, the stay was great! There are a few things that rubbed me the wrong way. I booked this on Expedia and, they don’t tell you that you will be charged 30 dollars per day, they tell you that you get this money back in credits of drinks etc. but I don’t drink and the gal at the front desk talks so fast that I wasn’t sure this is what she was actually saying. On our last night, we thought it would be fun to order room service and they do not give you a printed receipt and we had some items missing from our order, it was too late to ask for it. Lastly, while the room was nice, it was extremely loud and this wasn’t coming from outside it was coming from the hallway early in the morning, so it seemed as though it was either the cleaning crew or just people going in and out of the rooms and there were bugs in our room, lots of tiny white moths everywhere, it was gross. We killed the ones we saw, but they were on the walls and towels. It seemed like too much of a hassle to move rooms so prior to leaving we shook our clothes out really good before packing them. All in all it was a great experience, the staff was really nice and it was conveniently located.

This is the second time I booked with the W Hotel where I book a city view and got obstructed views instead .this time I requested a higher floor but received a view of a construction sight instead of time square itself . The wall papers were peeling and the bathroom was not as advertised . The last time I also booked city views and requested a higher floor but got a view into someone’s apartment . In both cases the check in staff were dismissive and brushed my request off. I will never book with the W hotel again .
