Can-Y-Bae
"I reported to the front desk that when I returned from being out, I noted my room door was closed but not locked. I always check after I've locked the door, so I know it was locked when I left. He said he would speak to the cleaner about it (who comes in late morning to empty the bin etc). It happened ..."

Esplanade Hotel Llandudno
"Spacious family room, clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Any issues were addressed quickly. Parking was an added bonus. Breakfast was the highlight, very nice restaurant and a good choice of continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast was exceptional."

Ty Dderw Country Inn
"I stayed here with my 2 sons at the weekend and can't fault it for the price. The staff were friendly, the hotel is really well placed to drive to multiple great beaches. We were comfy, it was clean, the rooms had everything we needed and it was quiet at night, which as a light sleeper I really appreciate ..."

The Marine Hotel
"Booked this stay for my parents for my Dad’s 70th birthday and booked a superior sea view room which was pretty expensive for the location. Unfortunately they came back describing it as Fawlty Towers due to the number of issues and incompetence of the staff. The hotel was covered in scaffolding so ..."

Iris Hotel
"The room allocated was in the annex and very small and smelt. Contacted reception to ask for a refund the staff chatted in Urdu or some other Indian language which I found very rude. I left and returned home the whole experience was very poor and I will not be recommending this hotel."

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality
"As I'm unable to walk upstairs, I was grateful that there was lifts to my room, but it was different outside the hotel, it's not accessible, the bedroom was a bit small for 2 single beds, and not much of a view as my room was at the back of the hotel."

The Royal Victoria Hotel
"We spent two nights in the Coach House in early July and found it clean and comfortable. Our room was accessible by a relatively steep and narrow set of stairs, which was fine for us but could be an issue for travelers with mobility issues or a lot of luggage. There is no air conditioning but a fan was provided (though given then outlet locations, we weren't able to position it in a very helpful location). The location of the hotel is great and we were able to walk to the bus stop to take the bus to the Pen y Pass trailhead, and then back down the Llanberis Path directly to the hotel. Breakfast was nice and included a good selection of hot and cold items (eggs, hash browns, toast, fruit, cereal, etc.) and beverages. We enjoyed afternoon snacks, drinks and dinner in the bar area and picnic tables outside. There weren't many places open for a late lunch or early dinner in town so we spent most of our free time at the hotel. The demographic while we were there was a bit strange - lots of elderly folks who appeared to be part of a tour group. Not sure if that's typical, but it made it feel a little like we were staying in a retirement home."
