Budget-friendly, but many inconveniences.
We stayed for four nights, and overall, it was an okay experience—good for a budget-friendly trip, but with several inconveniences to note.Positives: Management was professional, responsive, and helpful. The location is convenient, with a Walgreens, gas station, and liquor store within walking distance, and the neighborhood is quiet. The home had basic essentials and matched its name—Cozy Mykonos—being small but charming.Things to be aware of:•The walls are thin, and you can hear neighbors in the other unit.•A septic tank in the front yard has a strong odor and attracts flies.•The front entrance gets slippery when wet; two of us slipped during our stay.•For a listing that “sleeps 4,” there were only two towel sets and not much room to all enjoy the TV.•The keypad died the first night, and we learned the same door code was used for both units, which felt like a security concern. Both issues were resolved quickly.•Parking was in the grass, not the driveway, despite what the listing stated.•The listing mentions two queens, but it’s actually one king and one queen.•The listing says to flush toilet paper only, but in-home signage says not to flush anything, including toilet paper, or you’ll be charged.Bottom line: The stay was manageable for the price, but the number of small issues especially around safety and listing accuracy made us feel a hotel might have been a better option.
