"This is a great place to stay for a family event. I don't normally stay at local hotels because you never know what you will get, but this place had great reviews so I took a chance. Yes, the room decor is a little dated, and the rooms have actual metal keys, which I haven't seen in years! However, everything about this hotel was very clean and in great condition, so who cares if the decor colors aren't trendy? The bed was so comfortable, and the service at the front desk was top-notch. They were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again when we return to visit family in Lockport. "

"We loved the quirky Hart Hotel where industrial heritage has been transformed into very comfortable and attractive rooms with very thoughtful extras like lots of USB sockets. After an evening meal elsewhere we returned and had excellent cocktails in the bar, enjoying the ambiance and having a chat with the knowledgeable bar tender. "

"Room was dilapidated and had not been updated since the 80s probably. Two floors with no elevators. The rooms all smelled horrible because we tried several. The room we settled on for the few hours we needed it still didn’t smell great. The door lock was hanging on the wall. We would never stay here again. I suggest others avoid it."
