We stayed at Tropicana Los Cabos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton for four nights and overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel, beautiful shared spaces, and a great central location near the plaza. The rooms were clean, turndown service was done nightly, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Our main issue was the room location. We were placed near what seemed to be an employee lounge or service area, and bright lights outside shined into our room at night, making it difficult to sleep. Some rooms had blackout shades, which would have helped. I did ask to change rooms at the beginning of our stay but was told none were available, even though the hotel did not appear full.
The pool was great, but the jacuzzi remained lukewarm the entire time. The yoga and massage offerings were excellent and a highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the complimentary bike tour was canceled without notice. I left breakfast outside the hotel to attend, only to find out it was canceled. A quick call would have been appreciated. Concierge and front desk service could use a bit more attention.
Despite a few shortcomings, we enjoyed the hotel and would stay again I would just be sure to request a different room next tim
