Military families beware. The biggest issue we had was with the staff, specifically with the manager. We are a military family and we booked this hotel for a soccer tournament at the end of August for a November tournament. 10 days before the trip the government shutdown hadn’t been decided. So we tried to get our money back for one night. The manager would never even talk to us. The staff member that did talk to us kept giving us the run around and would interrupt my husband multiple times. We never did get a call back from the manager. The bigger kicker is they say they are “military supporters”. That is a lie and weren’t supportive at all. They really should take that sign down. They couldn’t be sensitive to the fact that we booked this way before the shut down and didn’t even have the decency to listen to our situation. They only cared about their money and no one else. If you are military I would avoid staying here.
Also, they have a $2.99 fee that they charge for booking through Travelocity that they don’t mention until you’ve checked in. Like I said earlier they are money hungry.
The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was garbage. My husband got a milk for cereal and the milk was warm. My son had orange juice that tasted like chemicals.
