We really wanted to like this house. Small details need some love and work. Door knobs fell off, doors wouldn't lock all the way, handles on all sinks were loose. We felt as if someone rushed this or hired someone to do poor work to the small details of the house. The house has many issues. Tiles coming up. Tripped over a tile. The house seems to be going through small stages of touch ups. The bath tub has mildew or mold come out of the faucet. The curtains were broken so it was hard to let air into the house. The house does not have AC either. We won't be staying here again. Lastly they left nails in the driveway from work done to the outside which we stepped on. Whoever they hired to do work to the house did not do a great job nor did the clean up anything they left behind. This house can be more but it lacked in many different ways.

Broken windshield - yep

On our first night we parked down by the house and overnight a pinecone fell from the tree above and shattered our windshield. Could have been easily avoided with a sign "park at your own risk, falling pinecones.." But we had no idea that was a possibility. And then owner/manager took no accountability. "sorry, nothing we can do." Home was a little dirty, not terrible. But when you find spiderwebs all over the home, especially when a spider drops down on you in the toilet... not great. Mouse traps and droppings.. 2 of the 3 fire places didn't work.. construction next door made is so we had to park down the street several times. With all that said, the view of the lake off the back deck and from the home through the large windows was amazing! We won't ever come back to this home but we will come back to incline village again very soon.

Very disappointed

We rented a property from July 20–27, 2025. Shortly after checking in, we contacted the management company regarding several issues. However, the local representative did not respond until five days later and was extremely unhelpful.After returning home, I contacted VRBO on July 29, 2025, to request a refund because the property did not match the photos shown on the website. VRBO assigned three different case numbers and a fourth reference number in the subject line, but no meaningful action has been taken.Despite being told I would be contacted within 24–48 hours, I have received no follow-up. This has been a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Location

Great location and beautiful view. House is big. Has a lot of options, including an additional kitchen unit.One advise was that when we came in the night time and it was dark and the house is little bit further down the slope. But the map takes you to a location, which is at the front of the garage. So I had to figure out where the exact location of the house was. It would be nice if there is instruction written on on the front of the garage that the house is way down or if there is instruction given on the Initial welcome message. Also, I’m not sure if the air condition was working, but it wasn’t that hot so didn’t bother.

Nice area but needs updated

Furniture and carpet had many stains. Beds were not comfortable and the sheets were like sandpaper. Beautiful location and great areas to entertain.

Excellent place to stay in Lake Tahoe

Beautiful views! I think we picked the best place that we could in Lake Tahoe. The house was perfect for us. It has everything you need and the most amazing views. Centrally located to everything we wanted to do while there. We hope to come back for a summer season sometime. If we do we will definitely ask about the beach punch cards. The beaches in Incline Village are manned and you need to be a resident of Incline Village to get in there. We asked an attendant and he said that if the owner gets punch cards then renters can use those. Didn't matter to us this time that we didn't get any since it was not a huge plan to use the beaches even though the weather was in the upper 60's and low 70's. We still would plan to try to get this same house next time so that should say a lot :) Thanks for letting us rent the place. It was relaxing and just what we needed.

Beautiful Family Friendly Home

We were overjoyed with the view, the home was beautiful and fully equipped for our stay. We would definitely love to book it again!! Jacuzzi tubs were a cherry on top.
