Our evening flight out of IAH was canceled so we needed a quick, inexpensive room near the airport with a shuttle available for a 6am flight. The Ramada fit the bill. The staff was great, we had an early check-in with no issues. Most of the public spaces are very clean and show signs of a recent refurbishment as did our room’s interior. The hallways to the rooms, not so much, but the owners are doing things in the proper order. The restaurant had a limited dinner menu but the food and service were great and the cost was on par with many outside chain restaurants. There is a breakfast buffet available for a reasonable price, but since we left at 3:30am, we couldn’t take advantage of it.

Check in desk was very quick, friendly, and helpful. Room and bed was clean but on entry the bathroom smelled like wet towels. Only needed the room for a few hours to sleep due to a missed/rebooked flight. Incredibly close to the airport and even make arrangements for early hour shuttles (shuttle hours start at 4a but they were able to accomodate a 315a shuttle time for us). Got a good deal on a last minute hotel within a few minutes of the airport! Would use again if ever in need in the Houston area. :)
