"Really cool old school hotel. Rooms are small but nicely maintained. We had a view of the Hollywood sign from our room. Hallways lined with large B&W posters of Movie Stars. Smallest elevator I've ever been in. The restaurant/bar is beautiful Art Deco from the 1920s. Food and drinks were excellent with nice happy hour dishes. The waiter was great."

"This hotel was a delightful find in East Hollywood. And for the price, it was an amazing deal. The rooms are simple but spacious with a comfortable but firm bed and adequate pillows. The pool area and the inner courtyard area are absolutely delightful. Sadly, the pool is not heated and in November despite warm sunshine was absolutely frigid. The hotel is amazingly clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. My one frustration was that they seemed unable to fix my television so that I could stream Google Chromecast despite multiple complaints. I will definitely be returning next time I need a hotel in this area"

"Great location if your destination is Hollywood. Not to be confused with LA. The check in area is beautiful. The rooms, are pretty basic. There is a $35 per room destination fee per night. The water in the rooms are $11.50 each - but there is a Walgreens right around the corner where you can buy water. The beds are super comfy! Bathroom needs upgrading. It was clean - but had seen better days. We were on text with the front desk - super efficient and very nice staff. The service is fantastic. The location is great for Hollywood & 10 minutes from Warner Brothers studios and 8 minutes from Universal. Magic Kingdom is right there too - walkable (you can’t go in). Upgrade to that Hollywood sign view - it’s definitely worth it! The “La Popular” Mexican restaurant in the shopping plaza ‘Ovation’ was excellent! Hard Rock Cafe and Chinese theatre and Netflix theatre and shop are all walkable. Parking is $25 a night self parking and $60 valet. Santa Monica is about 25 minutes drive - definitely worth a trip! The tour buses around that takes you around Beverly Hills is WELL WORTH IT!! You can’t beat the scenery! If we come back here - I would definitely stay again! The lady on the front desk gave me a hug as we left as I was feeling emotional due to family memories. Which was really ever so kind. Thank you! "

"Great location, we walked to the Bowl, walked to Hollywood Blvd. Room was clean, pool was ok. Wish they had breakfast. Be ready for the upcharge for parking-its a shocker! We have stayed here several time and have liked it"
