This place needs some work

Great floor plan and great location. House itself is in pretty rough shape. It needs a good cleaning and some one to come in and fix it up. From missing door handles on the screen to broken toilet paper dispensers it, with some better attention to detail and more cleaning it could be a great place to stay. The check-in process was a bit of a pain because the code sent didn't work. Calling Vacasa customer support was not bad and after being given 3 codes we were able to get in, but was a hassle (and one that we didn't appreciate late at night).

My family and friends had a wonderful time and made the best of our vacation, but unfortunately, we will not be staying at this beach house next year. Upon arrival, the door lock was broken, which delayed our check-in as we had to wait for a response from the host. Once inside, we quickly realized the house was not well-maintained. It was dusty, dirty, and even moldy in some areas, which made for an uncomfortable stay. Several things in the house were broken, including the master bathroom shower doors, the bottom rack of the dishwasher, and the dryer, which wasn’t working properly. Additionally, the hot tub was not filled prior to our arrival, something we were looking forward to using right away. While we made the best of it and enjoyed our time together, the state of the house was disappointing and we will be exploring other options for our next trip

Birthday weekend

Home was well equipped. Kitchen cupboards were not cleaned need to be wiped out. Trash cans were full when we arrived, making disposal of our garbage difficult also increased the fly problem. Extra pillow cases would have been nice there were plenty of pillows just no linens also there were no linens for the hide a bed . Location was great. Views from the deck was amazing. The lay out of the house was ideal for our family.

Extremely Enjoyable Vacation

This home was perfect! Although our goal was to be at the home very little, taking advantage of the beach, when we were at the house, it was beautiful! Everyone had more than enough space for themselves. We will try top stay here again!!!

Maintenance Required Now

While the house, beach, and location are lovely and we enjoyed falling asleep every night to the sounds of the waves crashing the house is in need of maintenance. It was large and we loved the kitchen and living room and it was ample space to host large dinner parties of upwards of 30 people. There was plenty of refrigerator space and the double dishwashers came in very handy. The hot tub was large enough for 5 adults to comfortably soak. I can not comment on the pool as it was closed for the season. As for the overall condition almost every screw/nail is popped 1/8-1/4 inch out of every board on every level of the house, I'm still not sure how none of the kids managed to need a tetanus booster. Be very careful with the railing on the kitchen level as it is not solid and any weight will likely cause it and you to crash to the ground. The towel rods are pulled from the wall in the master bedroom on the 4th floor and only one of the shower doors open. There are burnt out light bulbs and some of the shower curtains have mildew. There is a half inch of dust on all the ceiling fans and we found empty pop bottles and wrappers behind the headboard in one of the rooms. While the property boasts a pool table there are 2 large rips in the felt and not one of the cues have a tip so it is not possible to use it. Every room is supposed to be equipped with a flat screen TV and cable but we only manged to get two working, most are not hooked up to the cable and the remotes do not have batteries. Also the porch swing is not put up and is just laying on the deck. The lack of out door chairs was obvious when we visited our friends house across the street. The house has 7 bedrooms but only 5 chairs total, scattered throughout the numerous decks. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishware, and utinsils but needs a decent can opener both the kind that takes the lid completely off and the one the just pokes the triangles. We had to barrow one from our friends in the other house. Over all I was disappointed and think that until the maintenance issues I mentioned are addressed it is over priced because you can not enjoy many of the listed highlights. If these things are corrected it would be a very lovely stay and worth the price.

Perfect location for chillin

Perfect location for the family that likes space on the beach for boarding and playing, not crowded and family friendly neighborhood. Far but not far from all needed amenities. The house was a great size for the families. The room with bunks was not comfortable for 4 teenage boys. They all complained of bed springs poking in their backs (these are not overweight kids either) and there was no fan in this small room so it was stuffy and hot. There were various spots On The carpeting from previous dog stays that didn’t seem to get cleaned up very well. The house could use a good deep clean as it was a bit grimey. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and plenty of seating for eating. More seating in the living room would be a plus as only 7 can sit comfortably. Hot tub had things floating in it like the filter wasn’t working, yuck. Overall all 15 of us had a great time!
