Up on arrival noticed hot tub not working & empty. Took 3 calls to finally get a ticket filled out, finally the next day property manager contacted us & send cleaning lady out to fix it. Luckily we did get to enjoy one nice evening in the tub before our departure that next morning . We did get a 45.00 refund from hot tub. Cabin nice but saw a roach on toilet, & the following morning a roach on the counter. Bed very comfortable

Looks are deceiving

Not clean, no protective covers on mattresses or pillows. Blood stains on pull out couch mattress . Foam toppers on both beds had disgusting stains on them, the pillows had nasty stains that looked like urine stains on them, bed sheets were old and coming apart were coming apart, very dusty, water left in the Keurig. , all this was reported to the manager and no one offered to bring out another mattress for the pull out, so my kids slept in the floor on a pallet. Construction going on next door that was never told about and the trash picked up at 3am. I would not recommend this property to anyone. I have never stayed anywhere that was this filthy. I have pictures and will post them this afternoon so people can run. . Do not stay at this cabin!!

Best trip ever! The walk to town was pleasant and we saw a mama bear and 4 cubs across the creek. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin

Other than having a slight hiccup with the checkin process, our stay was wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The walk into town is a bit of a hike, but the weather was nice so we didn’t mind. We would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed

The front picture of the house looked nothing like it actually was. . From the pictures it showed the house in front of a creek that’s the reason we rented this particular one. No creek just a road. Fire pit is next to an apartment we’re people were hanging out. My husband and I are over 60 and it was just us two so I didn’t take out damages insurance but. They added 45.00 on my bill for damages. Also was charged 45 for the hot tub . The good side was the house was clean and you can walk to town. Pricey for what is was .

Property suffers from extreme noise

The cabin is as pictured. But the photo of the building does not show the parking lot to the left of the cabin where a large dumpster is. Another dumpster is across from that dumpster. The City of Gatlinburg empties those dumpsters each morning from anywhere from 4:45 am to 6 am. The NOISE floods the cabin as the dumpsters abut the cabin even with all windows closed which will wake most people. I called the City sanitation department which helped one day but the city's position is they are exempt from their own noise ordinance. The cabin has no dishwasher so you need to do dishes. We brought a kid table so the kids had a place to eat. The fire pit area is not usable as there is no firewood or chairs to use. Further, this area is a BEAR crossing area as the bears come down from the woods to those two large dumpsters. My boys had a bear right next to them as they sat on the porch. I had one next to me as I sat in the hot tub. The hot tub water IS NOT changed between renters but instead I presume more prominent tablets are added to the floating dispenser. I of course looked past the water issue as that is why we rented this place for this added benefit and we were already there. I tried connecting with management but there was no answer or on one occassion it seemed a computer answered. Overall ithe cabin is nice but for the higher cost per night you can find cabins without the noise.

Great weekend

Cabin is beautiful. We had a little problem with hot tub but we called and they took care of it. We did see a momma bear and her 2 cubs which was awesome. Enjoyed our stay great cabin.

Location of Garbage bins

Did not enjoy getting woke up at 4:30am on a couple of mornings when the city was emptying the garage dumpster outside the cottage. The doors on the dumpster was making a loud banging noise when being emptied.

It was a perfect location for walking downtown..The house was super clean and so cute! The only thing negative to say was the creek area and fire pit needed major attention...it looked nothing like the listing ..overgrown

This property was over rated. The bedrooms were so small you could not walk around beds. The bathrooms had such poor lighting you could not see to put on makeup. The HVAC thermostats did not work properly. You were either suffocating or freezing. No dishwasher. I inquired about tv channel and was assured there was a channel guide. No. The foosball table had no balls. Overpriced and a terrible experience.

This owner management company was horrible!

I will say that the location was great. That is the only good thing that I have to say. When we arrived we realized that the hot tub was empty. I called and was told that maintenance was notified but we would not hear back with an update that day. I asked that a supervisor call me back, but that didn’t happen. When we put the kids to bed on the advertised sleeper sofa we found out that there were no pillows and no blanket. There was also no remote for the main TV that operated the smart TV functions. I did call to report it, but they said they couldn’t fix the issue. Oh… and the dishes in the cabinet were dirty. The kitchen garbage can was very small and inadequate. Bottom line…. Do NOT rent from Vacasa. They are a large corporation that really does not care about your experience.

Loud but beautiful

The cabin it’s self is very beautiful but unfortunately we thought the overall experience had many positive and negatives. The cabin is new and clean. Comfy beds but could have better sheets. The rooms also need real curtains as it gets very bright. The trash runs every morning at 7am making sleeping in impossible. The cabin is right beside apartments and condos making it a very noisy location with not the best views. You are close to downtown which is nice and if you don’t want to walk they have a $9 parking garage. The cabin did not have an iron or ironing boards as stated but they did bring us an iron. Also, no sheets for the pullout, which is small and would only be good for children. Very uncomfortable. I would say this cabin is better for four or less, not 6. The hot tub is wonderful and very nice patio area. Kitchen is well stocked but you are the dishwasher. Washing machine and dryer work nice. The area beside the creek is wonderful. We enjoyed a fire ajs the grill beside the stream.

Perfect Cozy Cabin

This cabin is beautiful and very clean. The whole family enjoyed it very much! It was close to downtown but very quiet when at the cabin. Will be back again and highly recommend this property anyone thinking about a rental there!

Don’t let the pictures fool you.

Not cleaned well. Very well built with nice features in a run down location. Apartments very close with a loud trash truck that comes every morning from 3am to 6am. Other properties close by are run down. Pictures do make it look larger. I would only recommend two adults, and one to two kids. Lots of larger debris on the floor. Kitchen countertop had a large coffee spill under coffee machine that had not been wiped up. Jacuzzi tub had a frisbee left in the bottom and lots of tree debris, thus leading us to believe it was not drained and cleaned. A lot of dust on most items. It appears the cleaning crew is only doing the bare minimum and no deep cleaning has been done in a very long time. If you are fearful of covid and extensive cleaning this property is not for you.

Perfect weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! We had a 5 and 7 year old with us and they loves the hot tub. It was was walking distance to downtown gatlinburg attractions. It was also an easy drive to Dollywood. We had a blast!

Perfect for a family of 4!

The house was clean which was the most important thing to us during our stay. The trails we were hiking were only about 15 minutes away, couldn't have picked a better location! My only complaints were that the hot tub wasn't already turned on so it took more than half a day to warm up & the kitchen didn't have a wine opener.
