"Check in was a little difficult the staff was young and more into their own conversations than the guests. We went to our room on the 17th floor and the key didn’t work so back to front desk they gave us new keys same thing they didn’t work. They finally moved us to a new room and then the rest of the trip was great! The hotel is beautiful with beautiful views, great restaurants, the breakfast bar was amazing! We walked around in the evening and it was beautiful! I love the history of the Galt House and would stay there every time I go to Louisville. It has a lot of charm! "

"The staff was amazing and friendly! I want to give a special recognition to the assistant manager and manager Nick and Kyla for being able to work with me and get me a room after Expedia confirmed my reservation but the hotel never received it. I had booked months ahead of time for a 5 day trip during a busy week because of the festival and everything was booked so without their help we would have had trouble finding accommodations last minute. They worked really hard to make sure they were able to get me into a room because they felt so bad about what happened. The girl at the front desk was also really super nice and friendly and also the guy who was attending the breakfast buffet every single morning we were there. Thank you all for your hospitality and giving me a great experience! I would definitely book with this hotel again! "

"This might be up there as the absolute cleanest hotel I've stayed in! The staff were lovely and my only complaints was the A/C was a little bit loud at times and the bathroom was a bit small to sit on the toilet for me, but I'm 6'5" so this happens on occasions. Beyond that, the shower was lovely, the bed was comfortable and again, it was SO clean! "
