The Meritage Resort and Spa
Everything was great, only thing I'd change was they only had one coffee cup in the room for coffee and the phone didn't work to call for room service. Everything else was amazing.

The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. ...

Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa
This property was due for renovations about 3 years ago but the pandemic hit. They are planning a huge renovation now and you can tell they are in the recovery phase of the pandemic. We love this resort but could tell the pandemic hurt them.
