Shabby and Neglected

Great location! Comfortable bed and couch! While sinks and toilet were clean, this place needs a top to bottom cleaning and painting. Windows, frames and sills have not been cleaned in years and are rotted in some places. Blood or something dark reddish brown splattered on walls and i terior doors in places. Plug in room deodorizer in bedroom was disgusting and caused coughing and headaches until we unplugged it. Filters for A/C units are caked with dirt. Large hole in bedroom closet door; other unrepaired damage to sheetrock. Smoke alarm in stairwell ripped out of ceiling and alarm in bedroom was going off for no reason. Microwave unplugged because when you leave it plugged in, the fan runs constantly; refrigerator creates excessive condensation....everything that comes out of it is dripping with water. Poor lighting throughout the unit. First set of guests in Unit #1 did not clean up after their pets and second set of guests changed the oil on their BMW in the driveway! Pictures upon request! I will never use VRBO again! BTW the description on this unit needs to be changed....if there no pets allowed, the description shouldn't suggest that you could play in the backyard with your furry friends. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! NEVER AGAIN!

Unit filled with Contradictions : SOME GOOD AND MOSTLY BAD.

We were unhappy in this VRBO. We had paid for 9 nights and so we had lots of time to be disappointed in this unit. Best things: Couch recliner, Bath Towels & Bed 1) As you know your instructions upon getting to the unit were not clear. a) Unit 2 is around the back, Would have been nice to know since we got in very late. b) The sensor lights in the back yard over the door were not on so they didn't WORK , making seeing the lock box very difficult. YOU STATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT THE UNIT HAD KEYLESS ENTRY. IT DOES NOT So in the pitch dark we were unable to see the lock box clearly. 2) The KITCHEN: Behind the cabinet doors there are wonderful pots, pans dishes etc. YET a) the MICROWAVE IS BROKEN - Told the owner the 1st day and never heard from him again. b) the REFRIGERATOR is disgusting: -There is only 1 shelf on the door all the others are missing. The crisper draws don't close properly causing food to go bad. ccc- The SEAL on the DOOR is not only moldy, and gross it is peeling away from the door and we had to mop up the water that drains due to the fact that the refrigerator seal is broken. d- THE DISHWASHER is not secured and there door rattles and pulls out of the space when being opened and closed. e-The top of the electric stove was crusted with old food. f-It is great that the items in the kitchen cabinets are new and in excellent shape but are no cutting knives, only butter knives , making cooking very difficult. 3) The light over the dining table strobes and flitters all the time. 4) The stair railing at the top of the stairs is loose. BEDROOM DOOR KNOB is loose 5) The closet door in the bedroom is peeling (see photo) and had a drill bit stuck in it. 6) THE BEDROOM, has blinds on the window that DO NOT KEEP OUT THE 5AM SUNLIGHT or the street lights at night, making sleeping difficult. _ There is no screen in one of the windows and the placement of the bed making it difficult to open the other windows 7) The screen in the bathroom has a large whole in it allowing bugs to come in. 7) Not sure what you can do about the staircase but it is poorly built. The LOUD creaking noise that is made when anyone uses the stairs must disturb people in the other unit. The living room has a great couch and TV stand but the walls are barren and it feels like I was staying in a basement not a VRBO. Needless to say in our opinion, this UNIT needs a lot if repairs and a little bit of charm before it is rentable.

Pierre was very responsive. The apartment has a comfortable bed, nice couch/TV, small kitchen. We liked having more room than a hotel room.

Perfect place to stay

Great place to stay and I only have good things to say about it. The apartment is very clean and neat. It's an extremely comfortable place to stay and the kitchen has everything you need. It has a very comfortable bed with clean linens. The property owner is extremely responsive and when I called with a question, he went out of his way to make sure all was good. It's a very private street with lots of parking. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Definitely a 5 star rating in all respects.
