Booked here specifically for proximity to McCormick Place while visiting C2E2. The day of arrival we were told our reservation was “walked” to a different hotel 2.5 miles away. That hotel was fine but I completely lost the original convenience and time saving factor I was willing to pay much higher rates for by staying here. Now my credit card has been charged for a room I didn’t get and I can’t reach anyone to dispute the charge that they promised to cover. Needless to say my confidence in having a confirmed reservation is gone!

It was nice being right downtown with so much in walking distance. Staff was so nice. There was a man and woman who helped check me in and they went above their job to help me with getting an Uber. The woman even walked me and my daughter two blocks to where the Uber app was sending my driver. I wish I had their names because they deserve recognition. For someone from small town, Wisconsin, they eased my nerves about staying in a huge city. Good people do exist all over.

Moved to different hotel, and comped us.

I booked my room in February, for my stay in April. When I arrived at the Marriott Marquis to check-in, they told me that due to 3rd party reservation, that they were moving me to the JW Marriott. The new hotel was 2.4 miles from were I booked. The Marriott was kind enough to comp my whole weekend, which was nice. The JW Marriott was a 5 star hotel, and that helped with the inconvenience of me being moved.

Not a big deal. Everything was amazing. Only issue was no after hour vending. Once restaurant closes you can't get any drinks on the property until 6am when it opens.

Almost perfect but……

Could use a bit mor attention to detail on cleaning. Soap in shower was empty and found bottle caps under beds. The rooms were modern and very comfortable. The view of the lake was perfect! A couple of small issues but an wonderful experience checking in and location.

Loved my stay and the condition of the room. Our maid service was great and friendly. The staff at the bar outside of one young lady and the manager who I encountered was not welcoming as the the balance of the hotel staff. I also loved the service of the Fed Ex room. Genuine idea!

I get that it’s a downtown hotel, but it seemed HUGE, at least the first floor/lobby did. The ceilings were high, the space was wide open to the point of being impressive. The rooms were modern and well laid-out, the bed was comfortable, the view was spectacular, and the design was clearly with the comfort and convenience of the guest in mind.

Great hotel, when full its FULL

It was a great stay apart from the elevator times on the floor we were on, we always had full elevators on the way down and had to let full ones go a lot. It was during a convention so I understand, but when this hotel is full make extra time to get to and from your room.
