If you are looking for clean and brand new this is the place for you. The towels, sheets and bed were all very nice. This place is super clean. The only down side was the food was just alright. Some of the drink mixers tasted weird.

Beach and pools were good, however not exactly kid friendly. And the kid pool was for little kids not for teens. Shows were not that exciting and nothing for teens. Food never changed and was exactly the same each day from morning until night. The 24 hour sports bar is not 24 hours. Steak house needed reservations 3 days before. All the others did not require reservations but you couldn’t get into any of them if you didn’t get there right at 6pm. Buffet food made me sick. I tipped everyone including the person cleaning our room and upon checkout the resort tried sticking some obscene charges on our room. They said they had to clean up a bag of pee! Pee! Are you kidding me? We are not that kind of people and this was absolutely unacceptable. Not to mention that Expedia was supposed to book our transportation from the airport to the resort but no one ever came and we had to fork out $240 to get to the resort. Both Expedia and the resort refused to refund any money. I will not be staying at another RIU again nor book anything with Expedia.

My room was immaculate, I was upset because it was after 3 and my room still wasn’t ready but when I got to it, it was worth the wait. We celebrated our honeymoon, and the staff decorated our room it was very nice we will return.
