"Amazing value, huge en-suite room with adjoining living room with large smart TV, kitchen area and loungers. We even had sea views from two windows. All within the walled town a stones throw from the castle. Best value o have ever had with Expedia. Well done Sue, you should put your prices up!"

"Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought ..."

YHA Snowdon Pen-Y-Pass - Hostel
"Excellent Hostel and very well kept. Nice clean facilities and good food available in the restaurant too. Only downside is the parking situation but this is out of their hands and well informed on their web site. Plenty of regular busses during the day so just be sure to plan ahead for where you ..."

Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa
"There was hardly any room to put our suitcases. The beds were old and creaky. I’ve never seen shower controls so old. The amenities provided were only soap. No shampoo or conditioner. Surfaces were a bit dusty. No aircon so we had to leave our room window open. It was too expensive as well for what ..."

Plas Glynllifon Mansion
"This hotel is a work in progress but it is a great experience to stay in a 19th century mansion. I hope that the current owners can continue their restoration and preserve this tremendous heritage. But please put better directions on the hotel booking site as the given post code is miles away."

Victoria House Room Only Accommodation
"I have to say my wife and I do a fair bit of travelling, so we get to see lots of hotels, B&Bs, private hirings etc. so, I can assure you that our appraisal is fair and honest. Firstly, if you want to be welcomed with a big friendly smile, then stay here. If you want an immaculate room with a comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee, milk and even a couple of bottles of water in the fridge, then stay here. It’s not just about having the normal things that hotels provide you. It means a great deal more when the owner (Jan) adds those extra touches that you don’t expect, but they mean a great deal when they’re there. We were fortunate to have a couple of chocolate biscuits, cheesy crackers and some complimentary wine in our fridge, I think that’s brilliant, something that doesn’t need to be done, however, it’s great when someone adds those touches, to make you feel welcome. Victoria House is situated on a quiet street in a perfect location if you want to tour the area; we found parking on the street outside easy so no great concerns there. There are ‘45min limited stay’ signs dotted down the street, however, if you’re staying with Jan then you get issued a pass for 24hrs to place on your dash, this can be renewed every day if you’re there for longer. I suppose I could write considerably more about this great little place with amazing hosts, but I feel all the other 5 star rating pretty much cover all bases, so would I stay here again…ABSOLUTELY, would I recommend it to others,"
