Only downside of our stay was the evening bar menu which was limited and if you are staying for a few days could be more varied. For the price charged you would expect a fridge in your room and the safe to be more easily accessible rather than on the floor. Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel
"We only stay for one night so it was ok however wouldn’t want to stay any longer as the double room is more like single with double bed in it. It’s so hot in the room it was difficult to sleep and although they provide a fan I found that to be quite noisy. It needs some updating as some of it is looking tired. Also windows could do with some cleaning and maybe picking up all the paper rubbish from behind the bed! Last thing the floor is really creaky it gets annoying after awhile. On the plus size the staff are really lovely especially the girls in the bar area! And the breakfast was really tasty!"
