This is a beautiful historical place that attracted us. However, on our way to the property, were told internet not working and only fix on the 2nd day (we only booked for 3days). We are a group of Digital Marketer , imagine our disappointment not able to access to internet for two days.
We did spend a lot of time on the Mountain and only had a breakfast on the 3rd day, Aug 17. Upon checking out, were told we have damaged their old dining table by coffee mug burn marking. $250 was charged as they have to resurface it. That is a expensive breakfast as we only use their coffee mug, plate and placemats . They don't have coaster for the mug, so we have to place the coffee on the placemats.
So , how can a regular, ceramic coffee mug cause burn mark on the table. Moreover, we have video we took upon checking in on the first day , showing the mark was already there before us. All communication fell into a deaf ear. They just went silence when we show the proof of the video that we did not do it. They just refuse to reimburse back to us. Very disappointing. So buyer beware.
