This cabin was so wonderfully excellent. The two-story, 2bdrm, 2 btrm, with Living Room, Dining Room, sitting area. kitchen, and sunroom downstairs and bedrooms upstairs, is extremely cute, cozy, clean and spaciously laid out. The bedding linens, towels, and snacks provided were excellent. Laundry facilities were great. The 3 and 7 year old girls loved the toys that are provided and planty of places to play. Heating for the cabin was perfectly comfortable. The storage house with ping pong and foozeball tables were in perfect condition and enjoyable. The little log cabin playhouse was fun for the kids as well and the firepit with chairs area was nice, although we didn't use it. The front porch is large and has a nice view of the creek and woodsy area. The creek was beautiful and we had fun exploring the trails behind the house and the little bridge across the creek. Access to the house was easy and safe from the neighborhood street and the location is just outside of Weaverville to be rural/woodsy, but only 10 minutes to grocery stores, shopping, quaint downtown with cool restaurants and shops. Weaverville was perfect for a short ride over to Asheville and to Wolf Ridge where we visited the ski resort and snow tubing park. Light snow on the last night made it very exciting for the kids the following morning, as they had never seen snow before. We would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend this wonderful cabin to anyone visiting the greater Asheville area.

Best mountain cabin EVER!!!

We had the BEST time and will be back to this beautiful cabin in the woods!! The property is gorgeous, there's a babbling brook right out the front door! Well deserved 5 Stars!!! !!!!! Bedroom #1 w the kids hideaway beds are super cute! My wife and I and our two kids stayed in this room and it was perfect!! The kids LOVED that they had their own little nook and the beds were plenty large enough. Our kids are 4 & 7. But our 13 year old cousins wish they could have slept here because it is so cool! The beds have a curtain that makes it feel extra fort-like!!! The curtains navy and gold look like a night sky...so cool King Bed! Other bedroom was perfect , w a nice king bed. All the beds and sofa are very comfortable! Sheets and towels and the entire property seemed very clean & well kept. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided! The downstairs room w two twin beds was perfect for our 13 year old cousins, and a nice private space away from the other two rooms. This room would also suite two adults that like each other just fine. The two bathrooms were very clean and spacious w all essentials provided. The living room seats about a dozen people - very nice furniture, very mountain cozy feel. Very comfy. Huge TV!! Kitchen is big and very well equipped! We made breakfast one morning with the greatest of ease. Well done host Deb & Fam!!!Thanks for the goodies too! So sweet! The Ausband's & Lefevre's

Perfect cabin with secluded feel, but close to everything

I came here with my two young sons to escape the FL heat. The cabin was a great layout, had all the essentials and definitely upgraded personal care products from what I’ve had at other places. The interior is definitely high end concerning furnishings and the overall build inside. Outside is perfectly rustic with many places to explore/play for young children. I loved being less than 10 minutes from Publix and a quick drive to downtown Asheville. Highly recommend!

Memories that’ll last for a lifetime!

My family and I had the absolute best time here! The property was secluded yet still accessible to downtown with a short drive. But we truly enjoyed just being at the cabin the most! We will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend!

Cozy Cabin

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was just perfect for our trip to Asheville to elope. Property was very clean and had everything we were looking for. The location of cabin was great and close to everything we wanted. I highly recommend this property and would definitely go back.

Great little getaway

This is a beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable, and the living room was phenomenal. Nice big comfy couches, and huge TV. The kitchen had lots of beautiful coffee mugs, and plates. The cookware was nice. The shower had great water pressure. The only drawback was the very steep steps up to the bedrooms. We left a brand new pod coffee maker behind, we did not have room to take it back.

Wonderful home , we spent our days exploring the blue ridge parkway and enjoyed our evening in the cozy cabin. The kitchen was fully equipped and a joy to cook in. I would highly recommend this home

The cabin and surrounding area outside are perfect for families. My grandchildren loved playing in the playhouse, running around on the spacious property, crossing the bridge over the little stream, and using the outside game area. The cabin was well equipped, clean, and comfy. The only drawback was the stair railing which was only on one side and a bit precarious for older people. Overall, the cabin and grounds were wonderful!

Family Fun in the Mountains

We had such a good time hosting family gatherings at the cabin. The cabin has a mix of old charm with modern touches and amenities. Lots of fun games and toys provided for the kiddos. We would definitely love to come back! Host was very responsive.

We loved this house!

We live overseas and were meeting or friends from NYC in the Mountains of NC. We have 10 year old and teenage boys in tow and this house had everything we needed to have an amazing reunion. We made s'mores in the firepit, listened to the rain from the screen porch I'm the evenings, played ping pong and foosball together. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was completely kitted out. It was a short drive to downtown Asheville while being secluded in the woods, best of both worlds! I would highly recommend this property!!

Relaxing Hideway Close to All You Want to See

Beautiful location with everything you could need!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Ivy Hideaway! The property was beautiful with everything you could need for a short or long stay! Only a short 20 minute drive to Downtown Asheville to hit up breweries and the house has a few growlers you could borrow for filling to bring back to enjoy by the fire pit! We will definitely be coming back specifically to this location!

Wonderful Spot in the Woods!

This house is a perfect slice of heaven! Tucked away in the woods with a beautiful creek running by was perfect for exploring. The house was clean, and well equipped for our needs. Our children especially enjoyed the two smaller beds tucked away in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The fire pit and green space out back were perfect for relaxing family time, there is even a little playhouse for the kids! The location was perfect for what we wanted. Access to great hiking trails but close to Weaverville and a quick drive to Asheville. The host was wonderful too, clearly communicated everything, was very responsive, had great recommendations for activities and food, and made us feel very welcome!

Beautiful property. Kitchen is well equipped. Child friendly. Clean and new gas grill with spare fuel tank. Owner was very attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Cozy Cabin

Where else would an 86 year & a 14 year old both enjoy themselves & forget about the works for a while? From the babbling Brook to the warm interior decor there is nothing not to like. With a trail to explore & within 30 min of Biltmore or Gruve Park this cabin has it all

Wonderful property and stay

This cabin was beautifully furnished and comfortable for a reunion of 4 friends. It was spotless, stocked well, and was located in a quiet wooded area. There were games, outside areas for visiting, eating and play. We hope to return here in the future!

Relaxing hideaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, it has a great deal to offer including a front porch with rockers and fans, an outdoor fire pit with seating, games and good TV options. I found the kitchen and house well stocked, much more than I’m used to seeing on rentals and the beds we’re so comfortable, and nice linens. Deb, the owner, was in contact with us through the stay and was even nice enough to ship some items my daughter left behind.

Blue cabin

The house was very clean, not one spider, well stocked kitchen, just like the picture. Our only complaint was that the water heater is way too small for 4 adults and 2 children - we had cold bathes and showers. Also, there is a cat - don’t mind cats, but this one was always underfoot or trying to climb into our laps or getting into the house., rubbing against our legs. We had a child with us that has an allergy to cats. Would have been nice to know before hand.

Great location, perfect for young kids

Can't say enough about this wonderful property! First of all, the setting is peaceful and beautiful, with a babbling creek running along the house and birds chirping and a great porch to enjoy it all from. Really, such a great escape from everyday life. It is well-located right off the highway and an easy drive to anywhere you'd want to go. About 25 minutes to anything in Asheville, 30 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway (a must-drive), and an hour to Pisgah National Forest. Lastly, the house is completely stocked with everything you would need (every kitchen appliance, extra chargers, plenty of towels, a grill, bocce ball, cornhole, etc etc) and is PERFECT for toddlers. There's a chest FULL of toys that our 2 year old was completely entertained with, lots of books, and even a Pack N Play. It made traveling with a toddler so much easier. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely stay here again. NOTE: There are tons of bugs and spiders, so just be aware. Also, the stairs in the house are steep and there's only one guardrail, so little ones need constant supervision.

Wonderful experience!!

The cabin and property are absolutely beautiful (even nicer than the pictures)! We were immediately impressed, and our kids absolutely loved it. Deb was very responsive with the questions/issues that we had before/during our stay, and we were even greeted with a nice note of welcome and a basket of goodies:) The beds were comfortable, the kitchen appliances worked perfectly, and the Netflix/Disney Plus was a great "bonus" for our kids! We were very centrally located to everything that we wanted to do, and it honestly felt like we were "coming home" every time we drove back into the driveway of the cabin. There were a couple of "issues" that we had (mostly because we have four small-ish children), but they wouldn't keep us from coming back. For example, there are no dressers in any of the rooms, and since we stayed for 9 nights, it would have been nice to have something to put clothes in for the week. There was also a water leak from the upstairs shower, but they said they were getting it fixed as soon as we checked out. We would have preferred to have a television in at least one of the upstairs bedrooms as well. These issues were small and manageable, and did not detract from our enjoyment of the cabin/property. We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great getaway!
