The Inn at Elijah McLeans
"The inn looked very quaint on Expedia.com, but come to find out that the restaurant and bar next door are managed separately from the hotel. The manager of the restaurant/bar has nothing to do with the inn! Expedia did not show that this was self check in and that a code would be emailed to us! We ..."

Hermann Hill
"A beautiful property. Unfortunately we were met by a dead armadillo (under the waterfall that is not functioning) and multiple dead koi fish (in the cute little pond they have at the entrance, but not cute when you look in it) Besides the dead animals, the stay was pleasant and staff was friendly. ..."

Kaiser House Inn
"The AC was not left on as instructed so the house was very hot and musty when we arrived. But, it did cool down within a few hours. Landscaping around the house is very overgrown with lots of poison ivy. Wifi worked well. House was clean and quiet. There is no onsite dining but this review forces ..."

Holiday Inn St. Louis West Six Flags by IHG
"The hotel is older on the outside but the rooms have been nicely remodeled. The AC is nice and cold! (Very important feature for me) the bed and pillows were top tier!! There was no microwave in my room but I easily got over it. Dove soaps (liquid hand soap as well) and shower essentials were great! The pool was awesome! Not to many hotels have a 9ft pool. Made my son’s day to be able to do all sorts of cannonballs!!! There is a kiddy pool as well and a hot tub!! The only minor issue at the pool was the rough pool deck area. The aging floor was a little hard on the feet. The arcade/game area was perfectly sized with fun air hockey tables! (You did have to pay for them) The food!! The breakfast buffet was small but the food they did have was very good. French toast socks, biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs, hash browns, potatoes were the main hot options. Cereal, yogurt and fruit for the cold options. (I might be forgetting a few things) Dinner was great as well! A moderate menu but very well done! Service staff at the restaurant were top notch!! Should have put this first but the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! The best part (If you are staying for the proximity to Six Flags) is the shuttle!! Picked us up at 10:30 and right to the park entrance! So easy! If you are debating the slightly higher cost, don’t! It is well with it!!"
