"Everything about our stay at Sofitel was exceptional. The check-in staff were wonderful, and Arif in particular went out of his way to help us get settled, genuinely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The team was also very accommodating when I needed to shift one of my meal reservations (I’d purchased breakfast and dinner, but had to move a dinner to a different night since I have family in the city). They handled the change smoothly. My one disappointment was with room service. I couldn’t make it down for dinner one night and requested a meal be sent up instead, and what arrived was a small plate of rice, which felt underwhelming for 160 riyal. It was a small blemish on an otherwise excellent stay. I will definitely be booking with them again for my next visit, just adjusting my expectations around in-room dining next time."
