The hotel itself was clean and tidy, but as a night shift travel nurse I feel like my sleep wasn’t respected here. One day while sleeping after a shift there was extremely loud construction happening in the room above me. There was no notice given and even though I’m a heavy sleeper I was unable to fall back asleep no matter what I did. I had to work that night as well and was very sleep deprived and as a nurse I have to be well rested to take care of others. when I called the front desk because I was desperate to sleep they responded with “sorry if you can hear that” and that’s all. I requested a late checkout from the front desk the day before checkout to which she responded I had til 12:30 to checkout which was fine I was happy with that so I could sleep a few hours after work. But at 11am that day staff was knocking on my door to ask me when I was checking out which was extremely frustrating as I needed that extra time to sleep. When I went to get the luggage trolley at noon so I could check out on time, I was automatically locked out of my room and the same person who helped me set up late check out the day prior asked me if I had set up a late checkout. Overall this was just a frustrating stay and I don’t think I’ll stay again
