Mountain Creek
"Our room was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. The parking garage was hard to navigate and it was a little odd that there is no reception desk - it’s just a person in the snack shop onsite, but everyone was nice and able to answer our questions. The biggest issue was that we were all ready to get food and drink at Redtail Lodge (the only restaurant onsite) and it was completely closed for a private event. This meant we had to drive offsite for dinner which we were not planning to do. They should let guests know ahead of time or offer an alternative spot to eat. Overall, a positive experience though."

Alpine Haus Bed & Breakfast Inn
"This was a charming old house dating back to the late 19th century ca1870’s. While charming, there is no elevator and the proprietor had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The bed was a high off the ground 4 poster bed with a comfortable mattress and the only heat was with a small portable heater (it was in the 40’s outside). There maybe central or radiator heat in the winter, not sure). Also the thin quilt on the bed was not adequate and I had to double over the quilt to stay warm. I mentioned this to the proprietor and suggested a warm blanket be provided on the bed as an option. He took note. The proprietor was also the cook or I should say chef and breakfast served at 8AM was superb. He also double filled my coffee thermos for my return trip home. It was a quiet rural or suburban setting."
