When we arrived around 4:30 PM, a maintenance crew was still at the property, and one of the owners there wasn’t aware we were checking in, so we had to confirm through the app that we were at the right place. That made the check-in a bit confusing.Inside the house, we noticed a few issues right away. One of the bed frames in a main bedroom was damaged and would give out if you sat near the bottom. The house didn’t feel fully cleaned—there was dust, marks on the windows, and dishes left in the dishwasher. There were also no trash cans in the bathrooms, and one bathroom had a toilet and sink that kept clogging.The pool was a big concern. It was very slimy inside and looked dirty, even though it was listed as clean. There’s no cover, so debris from the surrounding trees falls in constantly. The system wasn’t running at first, and when a pool technician came out, he mentioned the pool is older and tends to stay that way.The backyard also wasn’t fully finished. The next day, while we were outside, a full crew came to continue the work using chainsaws and other equipment, which was disruptive.The host did communicate with us, but overall the property didn’t feel fully ready for guests, especially for the price.
