The place does not have AC and it was very uncomfortable for myself and my children, as well as another family staying there. It really needs some updating for the price we were paying per night.
The screens were broken, the coffee pot broken, remotes with dead batteries, the dryer smells like mold, the 2 king beds were extremely firm and Uncomfortable with sheets that felt like sandpaper.
When we first arrived it smelled like smoke, despite it being a non smoking place, a few days later it smelled like smoke again, wondering if maybe it’s a neighboring condo with a smoker coming in through the vents or the open windows we had to have open with fans because we were so hot?
The building is in a great location, IF you are visiting during a time when the steamboat ski resort isn’t under construction. The gondola square we were so excited to spend most of our time in, was under construction and most of the business were closed. No more mountain roller coaster, or mini golf or multiple dining options. Would have liked to have a heads up on that!
The grounds keepers mow the lawn very early, so we woke up to construction sounds, mowing, and dogs barking very early on.
The community hot tub area was a win for the family, the kids were able to hang out in one that wasn’t as hot as the other.
One of the balconies we would’ve liked to use was loaded with boxes, they were using it as a storage area. :(
