I had a view of the parking lot, the room was small and dated not liike the other Royalton ive stayed at peeling paint and no elevators luckilyIwason the 2nd floor... breakfast was terrible i usually look forward to the breakfast buffets but this was by far the worst. And that older lady at the omelet station had the worst attitude everyday dam day geesh why! The bar staff at all the bar and restaurants were amazing and so polite no waiting well besides the steak house and the food still came out cold smh! Waiter at the pool were on top of it! Oh yes my room came with a butler thanks expedia greatly appreciated but the butler Johnny was terrible was of no help saw him twice in my 5dys not even to say bye at checkout his loss i tipped well!! I also had spa services which was amazing! My favs MARCO POOL BAR, MANUEL SPORTS BAR AND A FEW OTHER I FORGOT THE NAMES A WEEK LATER SORRY!! OH COFFEE SHOP HAD THE BEST CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICHES EVER LOL!! IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SOMETHING GOING ON THERE FOR ME TO BOOK THAT RESORT AGAIN LIKE SOMEONES BDAY OR WEDDING LOL... BUT I MET SOME AMAZING PPL!!

Expedia onsite rep Johnny was fantastic. He helped me book dinner reservations every night for our party of 8, as well as any room requests that we had. We had some issues with our room, AC not working properly, ceiling fan not working, no hot water. Kept requesting these services in the Royalton app but they kept responding say king that this service has been completed. Johnny ended up helping us. Washrooms by the pool were out of service for the week that we were there, guests had to go to their rooms to use the bathroom. Pool area flooding all week. No poolside service, no pool concierge to help with chairs and towels, ran out of towels daily, not enough chairs and umbrellas at the pool. Have to go down early to save chairs, 8am is not early enough. I would say that this hotel needs a lot of work. Service was not very good for the Royalton brand. Food was good, beach was nice.

Provided incorrect room on check in. I booked 2 queen beds on the ground floor and was given 1 king. The employees then rolled a cot to the room as a solution which was a horrible looking cot. They told us to come back at 12 the next day for the correct room. The next day we came to the front desk at 12, were then told nothing was available until 5 pm. At this point we were unable to unpack or get comfortable due to uncertainty with our room change. 5pm we were given a super moldy smelling room which should not be provided to guests whatsoever. Another room finally became availble which we had to pack up , someone was supposed to come to get our luggage but never did so we went to the lobby ourselves with luggage. By this point most of our day was trekking to the lobby and possible rooms. We dropped off our luagge to the room with an employee as we had dinner reservations, however then were advised we had to change our key wristband to the new room. As there were 15 people in line to check in the employee at guest services employee said we had to again wait in that line to re program our wristband. We were super frustrated at this point with the lack of compensation and customer service. No one actually wanting to help us or solve the issue that was a hotel issue , not ours. The guest services employee yelled at my mother saying the line was the only option and we had to wait again ( which we did this already upon the orginal check in). The 1st full day ruined by this problem

The resort is managed terribly! Service is sad, getting good and consistent information was nonexistent. The food was horrid, the staff with the exception of a very few was equally horrid! Many things were unavailable and the all inclusive is a joke. Most everything was not available unless you paid extra. The pressure was on from the moment we got there to buy a vacation package. Most of our group returned home with food poison. I could go on...

The original room I received was not good at all. It smelled of mold and mildew and whoever cleaned it did a poor job. The wash clothes were all dirty dingy and the amenities that should have been on the room were not there. No umbrella, which prevented us from going out the first night because it rained. No steamer, robes or air condition. After calling a few times I finally had to walk to the front desk the next morning. Poolside music was horrible, they played music in spanish all day. Buffet food was not good and that and the poolbar food area were the only options unless you had reservations for dinner and good luck with that on the app. I have stayed at a Royalton before and this was 2 1/2 stars compaired to the one I’ve stayed at previously.

Things that could have improved are the overall condition of the property is lacking. In many ways that could easily be fixed at low cost. The drainage when it rained did not work. The spa and gym needs to be completely remodeled. The food overall was 5/10. The buffet needs serious help and there is no regulating lines. The food was very mediocre. The steak house and Italian restaurant was great, the best food at the resort. My wife and I had a blast overall. Samuel was our butler and when over and beyond what we asked of him. He was Very positive and took care of anything we asked of him immediately. The entertainment was good, the pool foam party was awesome.

Room was just okay, you can tell they made repairs. However not great repairs. show area was dirty, left over hair. The cleaning staff and personal butler was great, Our butler, Johnny was Steller (5 stars) he checked in each morning, responded when I had questions, booked our reservations. He was literally Johnny on the spot. The food was not good at all, no flavor. All of the food including the room service was not good. We looked forward to Taco Bell at the airport and thats saying a lot. Didnt like how everything closed early other than one bar and the nightly rave parties was very loud at 2 am. People were friendly, drinks has basically no alcohol in them. We've stayed in other Royalton's and this one by far was the worst. Would choose brand new next time if we stay at a Royalton.
