I booked a room with a bathtub and 2 beds and they adamantly refused to give me one saying that it was Travelocity’s fault for charging me the price I paid for that room and they couldn’t give it to me for that price. My shower subsequently flooded our room multiple times and after NUMEROUS calls over the course of 3 straight days and finally a visit to the front desk they came to clear the drain but not mop the floor. Worst and rudest staff I’ve even encountered and I’m not fussy!

This was my 1st time in DR. I had a great time! I arrived a bit early and had to wait for my room. No problem, i went to the buffet and had lunch. The food and service was good throughout the resort. I visited the buffet many times, the Lobster House, and the Mexican restaurant. All were excellent. The bartenders were great and the drinks were yummy. Try a Banana Mama! Its a frozen concoction of deliciousness. The beach was clean, well staffed, lots of available beds and chairs, with security to keep vendors out. Okay, everything cant be perfect so here are my not-so-greats: the front desk has no idea about the requied USA Covid tests. Bypass the desk and go straight to the medical room next to the gift shop. The doctor was a bit gruff but once i won him over with kindness and sympathy he lightend up. He works 24/7 for a straight week before a week off. I'd be grumpy too! Dont ask for change anywhere but the casino. In order to go to the dinner at the non-buffer restaurants you have to gotobuffet desk and sign up for the next day's dinner. A hastle, yes, but worth it! When i booked online I had no idea about the VIP service. You will need to purchase VIP in order to use the 'adults only' side of the beach. I paid an extra $25 per day at the front desk for the VIP bracelet. WORTH EVERY DIME! This resort is NOT adults only! 2 buildings of rooms are adults only so at least kids aren't running through your hallway. You WILL have kids running around, crying, screaming

We were a group of 25 people at this hotel .... very sad things were lost money and there was not a person as a manager to help us .... I do not recommend that they stay and if they do they do not leave valuables in their room, terrible .... I made a report with the local police but could not recover neither the money nor things of value that were stolen from the room...!!!!
