The check in process was lengthy, I was originally brought to a different part of the hotel (where I wasn't booked), by the time I got into my room it had been a little over 2 hours.. Also, I wasn't aware that "Student City" would be descending upon us Saturday, all 600 college spring break students. The stay got quite a bit busier and a LOT louder after that. The resort itself is clean, the staff is EXCELLENT!

The toilet did not work the whole 3 days that I stayed at the hotel. I finally learned how to twist the product in the tank to fill up and flush. After numerous attempts in reporting, I gave up. First night, did not have hot water. The staff was very friendly and just out of their control every time I reported the problems. The management was not good. Others had bad experiences in the new section. Would not return again. Lupe from Florida!

Throughout the entire lobby there was one person after the next trying to sell me their services and when I declined they did not stop there but became even more persistent. The people were extremely hassling and began to ruin my trip. Before I got to the hotel I selected and paid extra for a room with jacuzzi tub. When I got to the hotel to the hotel I found out that such item did not exist and went with the next best thing. Initially when I got to my room discovering that my toilet did not work we went to the reception desk and they changed the room. Then when going to the next room that night we discovered the TV did not work we reported the issue to 3 different employees and throughout my trip was never fixed. The room had tiny ants. The bartenders and servers were amazing but the food was no where near what was imagined. The hotel staff was always around but never did what they agreed to help us such as fix the TV and provide the right amount of towels when asked nor coming back with them when told they would. The hotel had broken toilets, TV's, stopped sink which I solved by taking out the drainer. Would not ever recommend !

I have never been more disappointed with a vacation booked with travelocity than now!! Place is disgusting. I traveled with my family for 6 days we requested 2 rooms 1 with 2 beds 1 with a king size from the time I booked, we end up with double beds in both rooms. The AC didn't work in any of our rooms so try to sleep inside a room at 90 degrees it was impossible rooms smelled humid, pillows had a nasty sweat smell from day one! our little fridges were always full with large bottle of water soda and beer free of charge nice right? BUT the fridge didn't work drinks were hot!!! There was construction in the properties Travelocity never disclosed this when I booked you couldn't sleep after 7am with the noise, the hotel was shutting off the water from 12am to 8:30am, shower and toilet had mold stains. The safety box was rusted and had no lock so if you wanted a lock the hotel would give you one for extra daily charge. I called the reception many times and nothing wasn't done to help us. If you are expecting to experience a beautiful beach this is not the place the water was dirty and in 6 days I didn't see no one in the water. Do not allowed the gallery of pictures to fool you the pool outside your room of the private beach is only for VIPs and the room conditions are the same we spoke to during the days we stayed were complaining about the same things, the hotel allowed people from outside inside the premises we were approached several times during the day for diversal things...

Looks too good to be true

Food was awful, drinks were awful, room was humid, there’s construction EVERYWHERE, there’s always someone trying to sell you something, it made me never want to go back. Spend more if you have to, just stay away from this place, it’s a dump.

Great staff but the rest needs work

The staff is awesome and really looked out for you even if you tipped them a dollar. The hotel food sucked, the rooms are outdated and run down, their is no air condition in any of the main buildings including restaurants. Our rooms air conditioning Hardley worked. So you be hot most of your stay. Also the staff members in brown shirts harrass you for a free gift when it's really a time share they are trying to sell you. Dont listen to them. Would I go back no but will stay at a better place

First the staff was extremely nice and made all accommodations necessary to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The first room we were in the air didn’t work, the staff immediately moved us to a new room. They are doing some construction so there are many rooms where the air doesn’t work we were told. Here are the negatives. 1. Maids didn’t change the sheets even after we put them on the ground. They only made the bed up so there was sand on them when we came back. 2. Beach was not like images showed. The beach had countless boats blocking the view which wasn’t pleasing and a blue net surrounding entire beach I guess for safety reasons. 3. It says many waters activities are included but that’s not true. We were advised multiple times by multiple employees only kayak is included, all other water sports that say are included are not you have to pay for it. 4. There were a lot of sellers/promoters constantly hasseling you to buy something or sign up for something it was irritating. 5. There were countless mosquitos in our room. They didn’t fumigate until the last day of our six day stay. 6. We went to the Saona beach excursion and there were too many rocks at the beach you literally could not enjoy the beach on how uncomfortable it was. 7. The Expedia representative Francisco charged us for an event that was supposedly free, we got reimbursed by the supervisor after we told her what happened but he pocketed our money which is not ethical to say the least.
