Be Live July 2017

At times staff would overwhelm you with their push to get you to sit through a timeshare presentation. Buffet was hit or miss...some otems horrible others tasty. Room smelled of mildew. Toilet was problematic. Entertainment was great. Check in experience is horrible...long and extremely hot. Restaurants required a reservation, which in our 5 days there we were never able to get.

Horrible hotel!!!

This place is garbage and a joke! Customer service was nonexistence. Waited three hours to get our rooms after their "express" check-in time. It was impossible to talk to management. We were refused service at their buffet and all their other restaurants were "booked" so no reservations could be made. Rooms and beds had a musty old smell. Worst experience ever! A Motel 6 could have been better. And we were not the only ones with problems as others customers had similar complaints. Do NOT waste your time and money at this trashy hotel!!!

Over booked.

Due to being over booked we had to stay in the employees apartments our first night. Never had hot water for showers in the morning or some evenings. Staff did not understand English very well. At a couple restaurants our order came back incorrect. When we tried to let them know this wasn't what we ordered, they would just reply with no and speak in Spanish. Communication was terrible. Reservations for dinners were booked every night and they refused to seat our party of 11 together at the reserved dinners. Giving us separate meal times, and even the buffets would not move tables to accommodate our large group.

Over Booked

Pros: Clean
Cons: Guest and staff service
Location: Long bus or taxi ride everywhere.
Over booked, Rude staff. Very miss leading. VIP is a joke. Stay started by having to go to a different hotel for the first night. Could not check in until 3 the next day. 2 days vacation lost. Promised upgrade to VIP, the only thing we received was access to VIP bar. Our rooms were on the other side of the hotel. So this was a waste for us. This resort has so many rules of where you can and can't go. Staff was on the average very rude. Especially the front desk and guest service. The beach was nice but so many boats made the water murky every day. Will never return. Want a good vacation go back to Mexico so much better.

Beautiful beach but needs some upgrading

Pros: Staff very friendly. Food was good. Room was clean. Adult VIP pool was clean and quiet. We were always able to find lounge chairs.
Cons: Upgrading the rooms - fix toilets, leaks and air conditioning. Less hassle from time share people and vendors.
Location: Location was good- beach was excellent. We only left the resort to go snorkeling.
The beach was absolutely beautiful. Our room was ocean side. The staff was very friendly, however, we were constantly approached by the time-share people (even though they didn't refer to it as time-share) and beach vendors. Our room was clean. The air conditioner stopped working our last night. Another couple told us they were on their 3 room in 3 days because of loud noise, leaky ceiling or broken toilet. We upgraded to VIP-Adult section. Well worth it! No lines to get food or drinks. Food was good. Our favorite was the Asian restaurant. We had stayed at Ocean Blue the year before and paid the same price - wish we would have gone back to that resort. Be Live tried really hard, but fell short on a lot of things. Main pool was small and looked dirty compared to the private VIP pools.

Relaxing

Pros: I liked how sociable the environment was.
Cons: The food and alcohol quality could be improved.
Location: There are many excursions to choose from. Many of the options involve beaches with drinking, but there are unique ones.
The resort has a bunch of pools to choose from and many drinking options. As for food, mediocre is the best way to describe it. The staff is very helpful and friendly, some of the males are a tad bit creepy towards female guests.

Nice place, not so nice staff

The resort was nice and the entertainers were awesome, but the food was not very good and half the staff at the restaurants and bars were rude. Several times while ordering a specific drink or food (on the menu), they would just tell me "no"... no explanation, but it seemed that they just did not feel like making it. I did really enjoy the daily activities though. I had a nice vacation but i would not return.
