Windmark Beach Stay

We have stayed at this property before and love it! We had beautiful views of the water from the back porch rocking chairs. The home is very comfortable with plenty of room including a wonderful screened porch. This property is conveniently located in a gated community not far from Port St. Joe. The property manager contacted us to make sure we arrived with no problems. The owners left a welcome packet which was greatly appreciated! We hope to come back again!

Christmas 2024

We had an amazing time in Port Saint Joe. This house was perfect and comfortable. I loved paddle boarding and kayaking in the bay. It was so nice to have them right there at the house. We actually saw dolphins swimming from the kitchen sink. Had the best time. Would return again and again!

Wonderful stay by the beach at the bay. Calm waters, soft sand, and peaceful neighborhood. Personal touches from the owner made us feel welcome. We shall return! Great for families.

We loved staying at this property! The views were stunning and access to the beach and pool was an easy walk. As beautiful as the inside of this property is we lived on the porches. Both have a gorgeous view with plenty of seating. The screened-in porch is perfect for meals with a view! The house had everything we needed and more. Can't wait to visit again.

Winter Break

Our stay was a welcome break from the cold winter where we live. This house was even better in person. We loved the layout and felt right at home. The bay views were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the porch rocking chairs to watch the sunsets. We did not cook during our stay but the kitchen had everything needed! We liked the house so much, we are planning to return!

Beautiful Beach area home

We had 7 of us staying here for a week and we were quite comfortable. Good seating for everyone and a well stocked kitchen. The screened porch is great as are the rockers on the other porch. Loved the pool and adjoining resort that was within walking or biking distance. The view of the water is limited by the other houses and beach is not very big and the water there isn’t great for kids.

A bit disappointing

Overall, the house was as advertised but was not able to access the beach due to construction/heavy equipment. We were not made aware of this prior or after booking. This was an issue as we booked a beach trip.

Sunsets and Stars

The property itself is second to none. Plenty of room for two families with a total of 7 people. Tons of options for food around town as well as all the appliances you’d need to cook in the home. The sunsets looking across the bay are spectacular and how clear the nights were made looking at stars unbelievable. Only small downfalls would be that the property manager needs to update some of the codes, front gate and pool. Other then that we recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Beautiful Cottage

Very well appointed, great floor plan for family, loved the view and porches.. loved all the butterflies and wIld flowers. Amazing sunsets, nice community pool close by. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Beachside Retreat

It was one of the most peaceful and relaxing trips we’ve taken. The house was so cozy and we felt right at home upon arrival. The hosts were lovely and we appreciated their welcome gifts very much! We are already planning to book a whole week next year!

A wonderful week at a beautiful beach house!

We spent a week at this property with our family of 6 adults. It was really fantastic! We loved the big open space and well stocked kitchen. We cooked and ate out on the patio every evening while looking at the ocean. It was very convenient to be able to walk out to the beach for sunsets or over to the pool. The beds were also very comfortable and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. There is a grocery store and several nice restaurants about 5 minutes away. There is construction right out front, however during the day we were out on our jet ski or using the kayaks provided or at the beach for the day, so the construction did not really interfere with our activities. We were at the house mainly in the evenings and it was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice house but beware of construction

The house was beautiful and comfortable for my husband, teen daughter and her friend. The kitchen had all the utensils and cookware one would need. The beds were comfortable. Everything was easy, and the location is just a few miles from the stores and restaurants. There were supposed to be beach towels, but we couldn’t find any. We were not told that 2 houses were in the process of being built literally right outside the back door. Due to this, much of the ocean view we thought we would have was blocked. We were still able to see part of the ocean from the living room windows/back porch, which was lovely. We couldn’t open our bedroom blinds during the day because of the workers all around, and they started at 7 or 8 each morning. There are no darkening shades in the room, and the sun beams in brightly at dawn. It’s very nice if you do not care to sleep late. We were at the house in February, and it was on the chilly side. So we weren’t able to use the kayaks, but we did use the bikes. It’s nice to have those available and not have to rent them.
