Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol
"The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding and linens were clean. The Smithsonian and the National Art Gallery buildings along with other sites were within 10 to 40 minutes walking distance. Since we enjoyed walking and looking around we only got Ubers a few times for places that were over 35 minutes of walking. You’re not going to get much of a scenic view but if you like people watching, you’ll be fine. I like that the elevators are up to rooms require you to use your key-card, which is a nice security feature. If you’re not supposed to be there, you won’t get far. And there’s also personnel in front entrance lobby making sure randoms can’t in. They lock the doors at 12am and someone is there to make sure key-card holders are the only ones coming in. Too many places don’t have these security features, which is important for safety and security, and especially in these big city areas. The only thing I can complain about is NO continental breakfast, you have an extra free for it. But that seems to be the case for mostly all hotels in the area from many that I scoped/ checked out."

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol
"Nice room, 10nminute walk to the subway station, stored luggage before checkin time."
