NOT handicap accessible in ANY way.

Pros: Are you kidding(?)
Cons: Finish construction of the room. Either construct wheelchair ramps and grab bars in bathroom OR remove the handicap accessible claim. Hire a congenial
Location: Williamsburg.
Not at all handicap accessible. Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke and bed linens had burn holes. Room under construction and not finished. Lights missing. Hotel staff unavailable at night. They wanted to charge a dollar for a second room key. Two sets of towels for 4 people. No breakfast offered. No parking spaces available in the immediate area, as there were piles of construction materials in several parking spots. Hotel employee (manager) became agitated and called police when my wife grazed his monster truck (no scratches or dents, just clearcoat). This should have been settled amicably with an information exchange. My recommendation is to AVOID this motel at all costs.

Cozy and old school

We didn't expect much for an overnight stay in a cheap motel, but we got more than expected. The desk clerk waited up for us, as we arrived late, and was really pleasant and accommodating. Our room was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. There's a fridge, microwave and coffee pot too, which we weren't expecting. Nice little diner next door is a bonus. We would stay here again.

Didn't get the smoke free room we were promised.

My wife is very sensitive to cigarette smoke that lingers in a room. The staff insisted it was a smoke free room even though it didn't have the no smoking sign on the door. These signs were present on rooms with lower numbers but stopped one room before ours. The night manager agreed that the room smelled like cigarette smoke but couldn't offer another room. She said they had none. It was late and we had no energy left to find another place to stay. The night manager did give us a "Febreze" like spray to help eliminate the oder but it did not work. In the morning I went to get my daily carbonated caffeine fix from the drink machine. I pressed Diet Coke but got regular Sprite which I know I didn't accidentally press because the two buttons were not close to each other at all. I like to stay cheerful, especially on vacation but this is the kind of crap that makes the whole family grumpy. Thanks for letting me vent and share.

Clean and friendly

Pros: Close restaurants
Everything was clean and comfortable. There was a little bit of noise; it could have been the refrigerator, but it was worth it to have the minifridge and microwave. The tub seemed to drain a little slowly, but it was cleaned while we were out, so no big deal. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

Hmmmmmm.....

We stayed here just one night when visiting Busch Gardens. It is a great location, close to Busch Gardens and places to eat & the price was super, unbelievable really. The guy that checked us in was very nice. He asked if we would like to see several rooms and take our pick, that was nice. So I did. I should have tried the bed. We had two double beds, one for the kids and one for the adults. The bed was fine when I plopped in but once my husband got into bed I rolled straight towards him and that is where I stayed. Needless to say we didn't get any sleep. The rooms are old, but clean. I think it seemed dirty because there is a bunch of mismatched outdated furniture packed into a small room. The next morning, another guy that worked wasn't so friendly. Guess I should have just left and dropped the key in the slot, but I knocked on the door instead and woke him up. I am more of a hotel girl than a motel girl. It was not pool season, so I can not comment on this. Make sure and try the beds first if you get a chance to pick your room.

Would definitely stay again :o)

My friends and I were very happy with our stay at the Williamsburg Budget Inn. We found both rooms very clean and the beds to be comfortable. There were only two rooms left - one with double beds and one with a queen bed. They did not charge extra for the queen bed. Not only this, the room contained a microwave and refrigerator. No negative reviews with this motel. PS Also have an outdoor pool!
