Great home and stay
Took the family of teenage kids for my oldest daughter's 18th birthday. She's off to college next month and wanted to make one last memory. The house slept 5 with ease and is owned by a nice young couple that really seems to care. The home has everything you need and is decorated in cute farmhouse decor. The house was super comfortable with lots of little extras like soft towels, free coffee pods, creamer, shampoos and soap. The huge barn is the difference maker with this property. This owner loaded the barn with all of the oversized games that your group will ever want to play. We unplugged from our phones and had a fantastic couple of evenings of laughter and family bonding. You could spend the entire evening playing games and never miss a beat. Walmart and food establishments are right around the corner making everything convenient if your not wanting to get caught in the mess of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's a really fun place to visit if you want to relax with friendly barn cats, a nice rooster and goats. The property is 20 miles from the attractions on back roads which will take you about 45 minutes to an hour to get to shows and attractions. Other than that, we loved the place and it was a perfect few days of family fun. I'd recommend the big house for a larger family or one of the smaller units if you're looking for a nice couple retreat. The property is quiet and you feel like you have escaped the weekly rat race while you are onsite. I'd definitely go back.
