Quiet area

Our stay at Ocean Blue was good. Our room was clean, check in was easy and we had plenty of space for everyone to relax. The only thing I would suggest for anyone staying here is to bring extra blankets and pillows.

Beach trip 2023

The place was nice.It needs a good cleaning.I went to the store and bought cleaning supplies the first day.We had a baby that is crawling and his little knees and hands were black from the floor. We liked the access to the beach,(no steps to climb was wonderful).The place was a great size for our family of 12.

Parking is a problem

Parking is terrible. First night someone else was in the space assigned to our unit. No spaces available had to pay to park. Spaces are so tight you have to get all passengers out of the vehicle before you pull in the then thankful for being skinny to squeeze out because I can barely open my door. Then we were harassed by the parking attendant that we could not have our roof top cargo holder. Even though we were well below the height limitation. He threatened to tow our car. He then just paid to park elsewhere. We were told by management thru would reimburse our parking but they never did. Only stay here if you don’t have a car!!!!

Top tier

We have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this property is definitely a top tier option. We had plenty of room and furnishings were very adequate and comfortable. Our group consisted of my wife and I, three daughters, two son in laws, and four grandchildren. The property has easy access to the beach and we enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pools. I would definitely recommend this property and found it to be a very good value given all the amenities.

First time with large Family Group

The condo was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the swimming options and the beach! The adults enjoyed evenings on the patio. It was also nice to have the door to close off the back side of the condo after the kids settled down for the night! Plenty of TV's so that made all the kids happy as well!

Golf vacation

Condo was beautiful and in a great location, right on the beach and a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We had 4 couples on our trip and we had lots of room for everyone in the condo. Loved that everyone had their own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates/utensils/glasses/pans and loved the double fridges. Had a couple of small issues when we first checked in but property maintenance responded quickly to fix the problems. Only small complaint was the bedding was very thin and didn’t seem to be very good quality.

Great space for large family!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Ocean Blue 401! The room was spacious and clean and had more than enough amenities to make our vacation amazing! The property manager was available to ask questions and report problems and issues were addressed immediately. I definitely recommend Ocean Blue 401 for families!!!

Great experience we will be back

My family and I stayed here over the weekend for our family trip. At first we were skeptical because of the reviews, but this place was amazing ! It was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. I would recommend this property! We will be back. Also the property manager did very great with communicating!

401 Unit

This property was disappointing. Shower was moldy. There was a hole cut out in the bathroom to fit the toliet. Middle bathroom did not have hot water. Beds were uncomfortable. Not worth the money.

Lovely visit

The unit is well cared for. It was very clean when we showed up. A few minor issues like tubs and sinks not draining well. The dryer did stop working but flipping the breaker remedied that. I also called the property manager about it and they were quick to respond and willing to send out a repairman. The pools are not awesome and seem dirty but it did not stop kids from swimming. Fabulous beach access. We would stay here again.

Third time to this complex. Wonderful vacation!

Place is very clean and quiet. Beautiful beach and weather. Only issue was lack of decent pots and pans to cook with and large bowls or plates for serving food. Nice set up with plenty of beds and seating. I would recommend this place.

Ocean Blue, October 2019

The condo itself is perfect! The view is amazing. The only hiccup was when we arrived, we couldn't get to our parking location due to the top floor being painted. The carpets were dirty and one of the bedroom doors had a hole in it that appeared to have had a fist hit it. I did call management to report these two concerns but had to leave a voice mail message and I never heard back from them. Other than that, it was a wonderful week!

Great price, Adequate property

Initial renting/communication/payment was easy. Communication after onsite was not so great. Property needs minor care: broken fixtures in master bath & hall bath, dirty carpet in a couple of places (needs to do more than just vaccum once in a while, including under edges of the beds), old mattresses, burn mark on master comforter, weak wi-fi.

Perfect Location

Beautiful property well maintained. Very spacious. Furniture a bit dated but very acceptable. If I had one complainant it would have to be the King Size bed in the Master Bdrm. Sides of mattress were a bit collapsed and springs were coming through at the sides but didn't affect the center part of the bed. But given what you pay to stay here the mattress should certainly be replaced. Overall, very enjoyable stay with plenty to do in the area. I would highly recommend all shows at the Carolina Opry. Beautiful theatre at an affordable price for 2.5 hour shows. A must do!!!

Family Vacation

We had a nice stay and the condo was plenty roomy for all 12 of us. When renting an oceanfront condo on the beach for this reasonable of a price, we didn't expect the Ritz, however, we did expect clean. The condo was not very clean, it felt as though the cleaning company had been rushed to get it acceptable before our 4 pm arrival time and they didn't clean any part of the condo above eye level. There were also several amentities listed that didn't work. I will say that we called the condo company to bring us a working vacuum, a cover for our ironing board and to bring us a new iron and they acted quickly and took care of those issues within an hour of our call. Things to note; The Dryer ran, but didn't dry and several of the TV's didn't power-on and neither did the DVD players. Those things didn't bother our stay much, but it may for the next renters. This condo has a lot of potential if the amenities offered are in working order and it is clean. The condo company itself was very easy to work with.

Wanted to give more stars...

All in all it was an ok stay! We were met in the parking garage by an associate letting us know our AC unit had frozen, so the carpet in the room was wet. They did leave fans to dry it up. The dryer didnt dry unless you ran it for at least 2 hours for a small load. We called about the swimming bracelets being gone, and was told they would bring some, but never did. My inlaws were basically harassed by the parking security when they asked where the elevators were. The security asked if they were staying there, and when they said yes, he said "but you dont know where the elevators are?" Um, no...they had just arrived! The view was amazing, and location was great, but I'm not positive we will stay there again. For the amount of money we spent, we had to make sure all trash was out of the room or there was to be a hefty fee, we had to strip all the beds, and other things on a "list" of checkout rules. We paid enough in the original charges for a week, that the least the could have done was done their own cleanup. We were afraid to leave anything out due to all the fees listed in the contract.
