"Cheryl’s place is absolutely fantastic! She has thought of everything; you’ll find anything and everything you could possibly need and more. Her attention to detail is exceptional, and she made our entire stay effortless from start to finish.The swimming hole just steps from the house is truly magical and was perfect for snorkeling. Cheryl provided beach towels, snorkel gear, and boogie boards, which made enjoying the water so easy.Our family had an amazing experience, and this was easily one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. We can’t wait to come back and will absolutely stay with Cheryl again!"

"Very nice host and hostess. Very willing to help with any need we had. Beautiful home with a beautiful overlook. Having no AC was really not a problem, but The house could use a few ceiling fans, especially in the bedrooms. We did enjoy using the swimming pool but A little more attention to the swimming pool and hot tub would have been appreciated. The hot tub had a heavy cover and was considered unusable by us."

"This place was gorgeous and very appropriately priced. The house was better than the pictures. It was very clean and comfortable. The snorkeling at the beach across the street was awesome! It is a little drive from Kona but we didn’t mind that at all. It is such a relaxing and peaceful place."

"This was a lovely place to stay for our family of six (kids ranging 9-16). It is not new, but it has a lovely homey feel and was clean. We put two kids in bunk beds, one on the couch, and another on the living room bed. The living room space was comfortable for watching movies together and the dining room/lanai accommodated us well for meals. We appreciated that the location was a bit cooler (no AC needed) and secluded, making it worth the slightly longer drive to local beaches. I really appreciated that there were a variety of stocked pantry items that minimized the condiments/spices/etc that we needed to buy in town. The hosts were very kind and welcoming to both us and our children."

"We loved the house. It came with all kinds of extras: beach supplies, kitchen spices and the little things you can’t pack but hate to buy for a short stay. It was a quiet, remote location but you did not feel isolated. I would suggest the host get another oscillating fan so that each bedroom has an extra fan, it gets quit warm during the day. We slept great at night; the fan helped with the noise of the frogs."
