This motel always has great accommodations and service. We have been coming here for decades, and they have upgraded the rooms accordingly. I love staying here although there has to be a better way to get our gear up the stairs

Great place to stay!

Great place to stay and we’d stay again! Very spacious and sufficient! Aesthetically it could use a bit more pizazz but it’s a mountain town and it fits the feel. The couch and chair are quite small so not real comfortable for my 6’5” husband but it was nice to have a separate space to kick back in other than just on the bed. Quiet surroundings and easy to walk to Gull Lake or to find a meal. Bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were high quality.

Our First Stay in June Lake – A Memorable Family Experience This was our family’s first time visiting June Lake, and staying at Gull Lake Lodge made it even more special. The cabin’s location is truly fantastic — just a short stroll to the shores of beautiful Gull Lake, and close to everything you could need while still feeling tucked away in nature. We’re already dreaming of making this an annual tradition! To be honest and helpful for future guests: the cabin is on the older side, and it shows in small ways. The porch could definitely use some repairs, the rug has seen better days, and it smells like your grandma's house. But these were minor details in the bigger picture. The cabin itself was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped — a perfect home base for fishing, hiking, and relaxing with family. One unusual thing did happen during our stay: late at night, while my kids were asleep, a Sheriff came knocking, saying there had been a report of an argument in the cabin. It was a strange and unsettling moment, especially since there was no issue and he could clearly see the kids fast asleep. Thankfully, it was quickly resolved, and it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of our trip. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend Gull Lake Lodge to families looking for an authentic mountain getaway — just know to expect a bit of rustic charm along with the natural beauty!

Very quiet, immediately felt like home. You can see the personal care the owners and staff put into creating a great experience for visitors. Bed and Pillows were very comfortable, every room was extremely clean. Accommodation left nothing to be desired other than the television was a little tricky to use at first.

5 Stars No Doubt!

Finally found a place that feels like home at a reasonable price! Usually mammoth/june lake trips will cost you well over $200+ for a motel alone. Gull Lodge offers you a condo style, homey place, that is clean and properly maintained! This will definitely be our go to place… oh and online support is available through text and they are very active and accommodating to your needs!

Cozy clean rooms

Our room was very clean, spacious, and came with plenty of amenities. At one point we needed some cleaning supplies that were delivered directly to the room we’ll before we left to snowboard. Highly recommended and hopefully we will be back!

I absolutely LOVED staying here. The proximity to local restaurants, the lake, June Mountain was all a major plus for us. I really enjoyed the heater in the bathroom, perfect for chilly mornings and nights. Having the kettle, coffee maker, plates and other kitchen items was very nice as well! I can’t wait to come back
