SPECTACULAR VIEW! AMAZING OWNERS!

Pros: Beautiful view. Clean room, bed and bathroom. Private bathroom. Fairly new construction with upscale amenities. Very warm and friendly owners.
Cons: The pool was in the process of being cleaned so was not as appealing as I hoped. But everything else was in tip top shape.
Location: Remote location that is within 20 minutes of Sea Kayaking, whale watching, Victoria, restaurants.
When we arrived at Rae Leigh B and B we were greeted by the most lovely gentle Australian Shepherd, named Mya laying in the driveway wagging her tale. Then as we walked into the lovely home, we met David, who is the most welcoming, warm and accommodating person with a brilliant sense of humor. He and his wife, Jill, went out of their way to make us feel at home and were so much fun to talk to and joke with. We loved just chatting with them in the mornings over breakfast. The property itself is tucked high into the hills of Saanich overlooking the trees and the water. There is a peaceful lawn with a hammock just outside the bedroom, which was great for lounging in the day and star gazing at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a quaint fish pond and fountain. We were so relaxed by the time we left that we did not want to leave. It is a great get away from stress without being too far from the city. I would highly recommend it to anybody visiting the area and we would love to come back and stay there in the future.

Victoria B&B

Pros: Everything
The location is absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. The owners, Jill and David, make you feel like you are family. Wonderful people. The room was beyond our expectations - the bed was very comfortable, the view overlooking the bay was amazing. I didn't want to leave and will definitely be back. For relaxation and getting away from the craziness of Victoria I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Can't wait to stay there again.

Breathtaking View, Marvelous Hosts

My daughter and I spent four nights here, and we had a fantastic time. It has easy access to Highway 17 in and out of Victoria. We chose the Opal room due to the pictures of the view, and the pictures were totally accurate. We could see the Sound and the forest! The room was impeccably clean. Breakfasts were huge with a variety of choices, and it was fun chatting with David in the mornings. Easy parking. We definitely will recommend to friends and would be delighted to stay again in the future.
